When my now husband proposed to me I knew that my easiest decision (aside from saying yes) was which photographer to choose. NovaMarkina Photography was definitely the easiest decision we made! Getting married in Kingsville and living in the London area made wedding planning challenging at times, but Nova always made sure that her part in our big day was stress free! Our journey started off with our engagement photos at Apple Land Station, which can be a little intimidating but Nova made us feel incredibly comfortable and we had a great time, and of course the photos turned out amazing! Nova got our photos to us so quickly and we couldn't wait to show our family and friends. Now,the day of our wedding, what an amazing day! Nova knew exactly the photos that would mean so much to us and she was able to capture everything so perfectly. We had the most amazing rainbow, I don't think it gets any better than that! Again Nova got our photos back to us quickly and we couldn't be happier! Looking through them we could remember all the emotions we felt that day, we laughed, we cried and we remembered every moment. I think that's the true sign of an amazing photographer, I don't think you can ask for more than that! Nova is truly a great person and photographer, we are so happy we were able to meet her when she photographed my sisters wedding. Our special day wouldn't have been the same without her! When you dream about your wedding day, you dream about all the details - the flowers, the colours, the dress, and most importantly, the person you'll walk down the aisle to. When it comes time to actually put all these pieces together, it can be daunting and overwhelming task. Decisions, decisions, decisions. When it came time for our wedding down in sunny Los Cabos, Mexico, both Nova and her second shooter, Matt (also her husband), were both absolutely spectacular to work with - they were directive, took charge - but in a friendly way - and got everyone feeling comfortable and good about taking photos. She also moved us through all of the family photos, and different poses effortlessly. We were having so much fun taking photos together - it felt natural and easy! That's exactly what you need on your wedding day - to feel like things are effortless, and you're having the best day ever, which I was. Lastly, Nova's work speaks for itself. When we got our photos back we were ecstatic. They were every bit as good as we hoped for and beyond. My family and I used Nova for our newborn shoot back in August. We did not have an ideal birth and Nova was nothing but flexible from the start. She was willing to work with a date for my family and I when I finally felt comfortable. We had decided to do our photos in home and Nova was able to make our entire home (and nursery) look like it was out of a magazine even though it was unfinished. She has a creative eye and was able to capture our dog in photos who had just passed away as well. Nova is an absolute dream to work with! We had our engagement photo shoot with Nova about a year ago. My husband and I are both super awkward and self-conscious in front of the camera, but that quickly faded with Nova’s bubbly personality and easy-going approach to the photo shoot. Nova was such an amazing photographer to work with! Even before I signed a contract with her she made me feel important. She immediately made time to talk on the phone and even meet in person to discuss what I was looking for and determine whether or not she was the best person to provide that to us. From then on she upheld this standard of service while shooting our engagement photos, delivering the photos on in a timely fashion (the final product was amazing!), she kept me organized by helping answer any questions I had when it came to planning the wedding day, and maintained communication after the wedding to help deliver our photos and put together a photo album. One of the most special things about Nova is that she is extremely personable. Not only does she provide a photography service, but she also includes so many sweet touches like sending us hand written thank you notes -- she even sent one ahead of the wedding that included a gift card for Starbucks! It really made us feel like we were important to her and that we were in good hands. On top of all this, Nova is incredibly talented. My husband and I are so happy with all of the pictures we received while working with Nova. She did a great job directing us and our wedding party (which can be tricky sometimes!) so that we got all the photos we'd wanted, and more. We received many compliments afterwards on how well our photographers did at our wedding, and one of my bridesmaids even ended up recommending Nova to her cousin! I'd 100% recommend NovaMarkina Photography!

Sadly, as a single person, I have not had the privilege to have Nova photograph my Wedding...I have however seen first hand the incredible moments that she has captured with her camera! Much like an artist with a canvas and a brush, Nova creates incredible masterpieces with every frame.
