Went here for my sons newborn photo shoot. The studio is big with an area for kids to play and some nice couches for people to sit at while photos are taken. In the back is the bathroom with the little outfits and accessories for the newborn photos. Lots of cute options to choose from. They have complimentary coffee which is good cause everyone loves coffee. The photographers wife is good with babies and does well to sooth a fussy baby for photo shoot. They both were nice and patient waiting for my son to calm down and be happy or fall asleep for the photos. My son is hard to get to sleep or to be happy when not being held but she did good at soothing him into a nice baby slumber. After the photos are taken their all displayed on a big high def tv. You pick favorites and then all the favorites are displayed and you decide what if the favorite photos you want printed and of what size. There’s a lot of photos taken to choose from so there’s no worry about not getting any that you like. Was hard to pick what I wanted from so many cute photos but eventually me and my husband figured out what photos we wanted and were both happy with the whole experience. I’d recommend this place for photo shoots. Gonna have to book an appointment again when I have my next baby. ^_^

Shot in Focus captured photos of my newborn baby girl and did such an amazing job! Darlene treated my daughter as if she was her own. My husband and I were exhausted as this is our first child and she was only 2 weeks old. I was so worried about changing outfits and adjusting her for pictures and I didn’t have to do any of that. We got to sit back and relax as Darlene took such great care in perfecting all the details so we didn’t have to do anything but watch! Roy was able to capture such perfect pictures because they worked so well together. He has such a great eye for the perfect angle and explaining how to adjust her to Darlene so that he could get the best shot. I ended up joining the milestone club so that I’ll have the perfect pictures for the whole first year of Emeri’s life.

They were amazing, Our family enjoyed every bit of the session. Pure professionals and the place is very well organized. A lot of props for us to use and the whole session was perfect. No rushing, great communication, high tech previews, and the staff. I would say is the best part. Very funny, informative, easy to work with and made us right at home. I would recommend them to anyone. We plan on taking more pictures soon and of course would be our first and only choice. A lot of package plans as well for your liking and a massive variety. I say this again, they were simply amazing!

I do not recommend Shot in Focus for any photography experience! The owner/photographer is rude and yelled at my wife in front of my daughter, other children and other parents. He demanded that my wife move away from our daughter while she was trying to adjust her hair for her photos. He then yelled across the cafeteria at my wife claiming to apologize for her not understanding his rules. Very unprofessional! My wife also heard him rudely tell another parent to move away from her child when waiting in line. His words were you need to move back to give some space. It’s hot in here and the girls need some space. The parent thought she was helping and told the girls to move back and he said no, I’m talking to you! (the parent) Not a good example for anyone, especially children!

The photos were fine. The experience there was good too. I just can’t give 5 stars because I’m comparing to other photographers I’ve used. I paid SO MUCH here and I didn’t even pay that much for my NEWBORN photos and for my newborn I got 40images and the digital print release....for what I paid at SIF I should’ve gotten the digital print release. For that reason....my review is what it is. Who wants to share photos on social media with a watermark? I get it they’re YOUR photos, but I’m paying you for YOUR work. So I should own them after I pay for them. So please do go here if you want decent photos but also want to go back there any time u ever want to print anymore photos. They worked well with my fussy (very fussy) 2year old, so they’re pretty good in that aspect.

They helped with positioning of both the family and a pet in the pictures while keeping our daughters hair from blowing out of control. Great experience! I had professional head-shots taken and was very pleased with the quality. Roy and Darlene were very professional and easy to work with. The studio is great, vibrant and comfortable. The process was very easy and efficient (not rushed at all).
