Claudine is such an amazing photographer! Over the last 5 years I have used her for each of my boys (3) newborn sessions, she is a baby whisperer as she knows how to handle every baby so delicately and calmly. She is always prepared before the session and helps you to be just as prepared by giving you professional tips/tricks to make your session a success! Claudine has also done my maternity photo shoot with my husband as well as my maternity milk bath shoot (milk bath she just started doing). All of our pictures have turned out amazingly beautiful and she makes every process so easy. Claudine is very professional and I am excited for this years fall photos and Christmas mini's. My sister inlaw referred me to Claudine. I booked her last minute and didn't think she was available to book me in but thankfully she booked me in the same week. She had an amazing setup in her basement. I was Initially nervous to do a newborn photoshoot during COVID season but she took every precaution and her house and basement studio was spotless which made me feel more comfortable. She was so patient with my little one who did not want to sleep during the session resulting in going over the time. The pictures came out perfect and she made it so easy to choose which pictures I wanted. The price is worth the work. I'm extremely satisfied and I would recommend anyone who's truly looking for professional services and photos that will last a lifetime of memories.

Choosing a newborn photographer for your precious bundle of joy is a huge deal for every mother-to-be. It something as important at your wedding photography… Actually even more important since you can always have another wedding, but your baby will never be a newborn again ???? All joking aside, did not want to screw up son’s first photoshoot so went with an award winning newborn photographer Claudine Lavoie. Very glad I did! Not only she created gorgeous images, the overall experience was really good. Let me tell you why. THE SHOOT: Claudine has the patience of a saint. Even though I did not let Victor sleep for a long time before the shoot, it took forever for him to pass out (there’s absolutely no telling what to do, as stubborn as his dad ugh). Not only Claudine was very understanding and helped me rock the baby to sleep, she also tried to comfort me in any way she could making sure I don’t stress put about taking so much of her time. After Victor fell asleep, the photoshoot itself took no longer than half an hour. LOCATION: Being an anxious first time mom, I was a bit nervous taking my newborn out to a studio when he was only five days old. It was the middle of January, my son was underweight, and I was scared to death that he’s going to freeze and get sick. Claudine welcomed us in her beautiful home studio, already warmed up to the temperature that’s ideal for a baby. It was sparkling clean and very spacious, with gorgeous props and adorable baby photos by Claudine Lavoie Photography on the walls. Claudine had everything we might need during the shoot, from baby diapers to mommy hair products in case I forgot something which was very thoughtful of her. RESULT: I got the proofs two weeks after the shoot, and the final edited images within 2 weeks of making my final selections. The photos came out AMAZING, cannot love them more. Today we found out one of the images from this photoshoot was chosen as a winner by @babyphotoawards! Thank you so much Claudine for capturing our most precious son when he was a newborn baby. Looking at him now it is very hard to believe how tiny he was. One day when he is a 6'4" hockey player, I will tell him how super cute he was and show him those photos to prove my point ????????❤❤❤❤

Claudine is an excellent photographer, and incredibly professional. She utilized creativity and inventive techniques to achieve complex and likely uncomfortable poses, all without waking up her subject, our 2-week old son. She has a wide array of props, decorations, swaths, baby accessories and blankets in different colours. We were incredibly happy with how open she was to us bringing a couple of our own accessories for the photoshoot, and how she was able to produce the ~exact~ image that my wife and I had visualized; There was no " that's close enough" or "that'll do", it was all exactly on point. Additionally, as we had our photos taken during the coronavirus pandemic, she took very strong precautions to minimize risks, with facemasks, frequent hand washing, and fully disinfecting the room before our session. We really appreciate how comfortable she made us feel while we were there. She had a cooler for refreshing beverages, as it is kept fairly warm in the studio, and a small collection of light snacks.
