We were able to sneak in a Christmas Mini photo shoot with Amy Cheng. All information needed was sent via email, with clear, concise instructions, expectations. Amy followed all necessary Covid protocols. At no time felt uncomfortable or compromised. As directed we arrived a few minutes early. My husband got out of the truck, Amy was just finishing with other clients. She looked over and said " hi Rob, be with you in a few minutes!" Rob looked at me and said, do I know her? She made us feel like we did all know each other, even though we had never met. We started our shoot and immediately ,Amy made us feel very comfortable while always maintaining the utmost professionalism. When Amy found out I was a hobby photogragher, she immediately was open to any suggestions I had. Rob and I opted for no Santa pictures , but as Santa knows us personally, he opted to photo bomb a few shots, more fun and made for fun pictures. We had our shoot on a Sunday afternoon and by tuesday evening Amy had sent us 59 pictures. Then the hard part was picking our favourites. If you are considering professional pictures, whether family, engagement , wedding, animal, baby, Rob and I both would highly recomment Amy Cheng. I promise you will not be disappointed. Going into the shoot I had worked myself up into a bit of a panic thinking about doing a photoshoot in public, but as soon as I was on site and with Amy, I knew I was in good hands. Overall, the shoot went phenomenally well and I now have naturally edited and professionally composed shots that I'm actually really quite proud to show off (she even managed to edit out weeks of eyebags!). Amy was a dream to work with! We wanted some graduation photos of our kindergarten kid and some photos of our toddler child to frame and mail to grandparents. COVID stole so many memories from the extended families we thought it would be nice to get professional shots for a change. I’m so glad we did! What a terrific service Amy offers! These mini packages are perfect replacements for the traditional school photo shoots - you get sooo much more! And those school packages are just such a waste of money. If she continues to offer them, I’ll continue to book with her! I would encourage others to as well (just no so many that they take my spot… shhh. Lol). Amy managed to get my kids’ true smiles! They felt very comfortable and so did we. I didn’t have any ideas of what I wanted for photos and she came prepared with unique ideas and props to support them! It was way more fun then I expected and way better value! We will cherish these pictures! The kids had a blast getting their pictures taken, which really surprised me! I have so many photos that I love, my biggest problem will be choosing the right ones to frame and finding enough wall space! Also, I couldn’t believe how easy it was to work with Amy in terms of payment and return of photos: I have all the digital and it has been incredibly fast (well beyond and exceeding my expectations).
