Courthouse Libraries BC

BC Courthouse Libraries supports Indigenous artists in our display purchases for our libraries, as an act of respect and gratitude for the Indigenous nations on whose land our libraries operate. When we sought framing for a beautiful piece by a local artist, our experience at WD West Studios was not respectful of either our staff or the artist. We chose to have it framed elsewhere.

I'm very late in writing this review. My father passed away in late January 2020. We needed an enlarged portrait for the memorial. Craig at W D West, took a sub-standard photo and created a stunning enlarged portrait. It required additional artwork and it turned out fabulous. I can't begin to express the professionalism and speed to which these people operate. My deepest thanks.

Horrible horrible experience. Not only have I had to deal with this business more then a few times with both my children through school, but now once again with graduation coming up SD57 chooses to use this company for all yearbook and graduation pictures and again and i am forced to have to interact with their AWFUL AWFUL customer service and the gentleman on the other side of the phone who is always always rude and unhelpful. Not only are the prices ridiculous, he makes you feel undervalued as a paying customer and says completely inappropriate things to people over the phone. Will not try to help be accommodating while booking appointments and all around makes you feel like an inconvenience for even calling to try to book an appointment. Up until this year I was under the impression I had no choice but to deal with this business because they are the ones the school district contracted out to , but finally someone has told i can now use other sources. So as a paying customer for the last 16 years, school photos yearbook pictures ect, I will happily move on to another company who values my business. For families out there looking to have graduation pictures done or yearbook , please know you do not have to use this business and there is many others out there who will value you!

I required photos to be used on business cards and other advertising. When I thought about who to call, I really only had one place in mind, WD West. They have been in PG for so long and they were my only consideration. Craig, as always, was very pleasant and my photographer, Helen, was awesome and truly professional. Helen took the time to inquire why I needed the photos and where they would be used. She spent time with me searching adds of colleagues from my industry to ensure the photos she was taking of me matched the professionalism required. Helen had my best interests at heart and it was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend WD West and on a side note, it also felt very satisfying supporting a business in the downtown core of Prince George.

My experience with W D West Studios has been excellent! I recently had my grad photos done by these lovely people. The staff is professional and responsive as well as friendly and caring. The photographer made me feel comfortable and relaxed during my photos. She was kind and I could tell she truly cared about her job, as well as keeping the energy fun and light. My grad photo proofs were ready for pick up in less than a week and they looked fantastic, truly good quality. My mom and dad are extactic over the whole experience and so am I. I could not be happier with my experience at W D West, the customer service and personable staff really made the experience special. I would reccomend these lovely people to anyone, for any occasion.
