"Being "too professional" takes away the human touch from you" We drove for an hour from Oshawa to Peterborough just to get to the venue , We took a day off from work, rent a gown, paid for the make up. We are so excited for the maternity shoot but unfortunately we got lost. Instead of helping us how to get there they just cancelled it through email they didnt even bother to call me. Poor communication. No consideration. We understand they have next clients, I even beg for them to fill us in they said they will be available after 9pm.(Through email again) I thought they were being rude and sarcastic so I was emotionally stressed that day because its around 2pm that time and they want us to stick around in the area until 9pm? (Again, thats what I understand while reading their response and again its email misunderstanding) So I called every possible photographer in google, hoping someone can fill us in because we spend too much money and time just to make it happen. So yea..Goodbye downpayment. :( What a poor pregnant woman..So take your time before booking. Do a lot of research too..

Sarah has captured 2 Christmas minis and a cake smash for our family and has been an absolute joy to work with. Her passion for photography is evident in her photos as she has been able to capture the elusive smile of our daughter. She spends a great deal of time and energy ensuring that the quality of her photographs are to a high degree of standard. The digital files have been always returned in a timely manner. We love all the photos that have been done so far and cannot wait until we book our next photo sessions, a cake smash for our son and next years Christmas minis!

We just got back our second gallery and are blown away yet again!! We did the birth at full package and then Santa sessions and already have some more booked and can not wait for the day to get here!!! The photos were amazing the experience was amazing and the value for what you pay is amazing there is no other words ❤ I was a nervous wreck coming into the forst one but then now know how easy the process is and the amazing product I get back is worth the drive to wherever I need to go!!

Sarah was responsible for the absolutely GORGEOUS photos from our engagement shoot and wedding, and I was blown away with each gallery that came to us from this business!! She was always on time, has amazingly positive energy, she’s prompt with replies as we chatted about the event for over a year, answering all of my silly questions and explained anything that I didn’t understand, and she had many awesome ideas for poses and fun shots which turned out better than I could imagine. Never missed a perfect moment, my family will be getting photographed by her and her team hopefully for years to come! I seriously cannot reccomend her enough ????

I have had Sarah for my son cake smash at a year old, she was amazing. Super informative, literally bending every which way to try getting the best expressions on his adorable face. So very helpful! I also booked a family session that kept having to be postponed due to covid, sickness and so many things and she was nothing but understanding! Her husband did those photos and they turned out equally amazing! I'm super excited to have her for my wedding next June and my newborn session early 2022! :) She's already been so accommodating regarding my wedding as I've had to cancel my venue and now the date is a floating mess. If you need a flexible and amazing photographer then this is the place for you!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic was frustrating and stressful to say the least. Between having to change dates, venues, times, and endless messages back and forth, Sarah was so incredibly patient and accommodating. She even went out of her way to visit our grandparents with us, so that we could see them and have photos with them on our special day because they were not able to be at the wedding due to covid restrictions. She made us all feel comfortable and was so easy going and kind. We couldn’t be happier with how our pictures turned out!! We would highly recommend Sarah Hiltz Photography!

Had a most amazing experience with our Easter Photos. I wasn't sure how the kids were going to do as they were running on little sleep. Sarah went above and beyond to create an awesome atmosphere. My daughters had so much fun interacting with the bunnies. She worked efficiently and effectively. We went right in to her studio on time and we left in great time. She was so professional and her studio is perfect. Great turnaround time......AND THE PICTURES ARE AMAZING AND GORGEOUS. BEAUTIFUL!!! I couldn't decide which ones to print for our home so I printed them all. Thanks again Sarah and we are so looking forward to working with you again in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10.

We had Sarah do our maternity and newborn photos and can't say more good things about her! The photos were absolutely amazing and her and her husband were SO patient with our 2 week old who refused to sleep despite their best efforts! Once we got him down they were able to quickly do outfit changes and get the remaining shots needed. Will be using them again for many photos sessions going foward!

We've been clients of Sarah's for almost 3 years and have used her for countless sessions. She was an incredibly talented, new photographer at the time and we used her for my daughter's newborn photos last minute as I found she was the best balance between cost and quality. She was super easy to converse with and although my daughter refused to sleep, she waited over two hours for her to finally pass out and got such nice photos. We've watched Sarah grow her business and witnessed Logan evolve from the dancing guy behind the camera trying to get my kids to smile, to the one taking photos solo. Logan took our indoor and outdoor photos for Christmas this year and they're just as great as when Sarah would do them. Seems she taught him well! Sarah is always professional and responsive with communication, is very personable and incredibly understanding to little ones, especially my special needs children who could be quite difficult to capture as toddlers. She always made sure to get a good photo and would edit a smile onto one of my kids faces need be, so I could get a family photo with everyone happy???? already looking forward to booking Christmas sessions with her next year! She always has the cutest sets.

It is our daughter's first Christmas and I am absolutely overjoyed to have these pictures to remember it.
