In addition to the posed photographs he took of our family - which are lovely - he also managed to beautifully capture countless candid moments, and he was dedicated to making this happen. As someone who hates being photographed, I know that I wasn't easy to rally, but Chance convinced me to (quickly!) step away from the celebration to take what turned out to be my favourite photographs. Chance Faulkner is the best photographer that anyone could ask for. I had graduation photo's taken with my two closest friends in nursing at Trent University. Chance has a true gifting of being able to envision a shot, and he has an eye for details that enhance the photography. Chance made me feel like the time we had was all about us and really made the whole experience fun and memorable. Chance also has very well priced rates that are reasonable. I didn't feel like I spent too much for photography that looked exquisite and surreal. I really appreciate Chance's work and also enjoy his abilities to envision the moments. He has so much experience doing countless weddings, family portraits, graduation and engagement shoots. Chance goes out of his way to capture the perfect shots. I know that he has even hid in garbage cans and bushes to get the true moments that no one can pose for. That is what makes his photo's memorable. It is Chance's passion for capturing moments that together tell a beautiful story.

Photography remains a skill that not all possess... and Chance is truly one of the best in the area. He's low key, quiet, easy-going but a thorough professional. He's innovative in his style, capturing both the posed but especially the candid photos you want in that photobook for years to come. His editing is subtle but superb - enhancing only what is necessary to appear naturally and (seemingly) effortlessly beautiful. We were very impressed with Chance. One of our favourite parts of the day was when we had finished the wedding party photos and were taking the bride & groom photos. Chance told us that we now had some time to ourselves, to relax and just enjoy the quiet hour by ourselves. Which we absolutely did... and did he ever produce some beautiful shots from that time! Very natural, very 'us'. Whatever your story, whatever your vibe, Chance will bring it out in your photos. He did it for us, and we've had many compliments on the shots he captured that wonderful day. The only thing we would have changed was potentially to have a videographer and second photographer to capture even more than one person ever could do on his own. We want to remember every second! Being on a tight budget, that was impossible for us, but if it's an option for you, do it! With all that said, we heartily recommend Chance Faulkner Photography to anyone wanting a more candid, relaxed, and organic-feel to their printed memories of that wonderful day. And he makes you look pretty good too!!

Chance is an absolutely amazing photographer and person as a whole! He has an eye for beauty and captures the emotion behind every picture. I just recently had university graduation pictures taken with my friends, and we had Chance do the photography. Talented, professional, affordable. Chance shot my engagement and wedding photos. His talent for shooting and editing is apparent from one glance at his website portfolio, but what people might not know is his level of professionalism during the entire process. He is excellent at helping people like me, who don't feel comfortable in front of a camera, feel comfortable and relaxed. He doesn't take the center of attention, and yet he is excellent at orchestrating large events, tactfully keeping everything moving to stay on timelines (an underrated skill as some may know from bad experiences). Chance was amazing to work with and our engagement photos turned out better than we could have imagined! My cousin referred me to Chance since she was unable to photograph my wedding. I loved his work so I flew him out to California. Not only is he a great photographer but he is a fun and great guy. I just received our wedding pictures and they are absolutely gorgeous. Chance got some great candid shots, sweet editorial shots, and amazing family pictures. I loved how the entire day was documented, and it always felt natural. The second photographer was key and I would definitely recommend getting a package that includes two photographers. Chance is exceptionally talented, and is such a nice person to work with. With all of the other things I had to think about, thinking about how the photos would turn out was not one of them - because I trusted him to get the right shots at the right moments, and he delivered. I wholeheartedly recommend his work. He was very professional from the moment we booked him to when he delivered our photos. He even made up a hardcover book with a few of the photos, included a wonderful note, and the pictures were on a fancy wooden USB stick - the customer service is incredible.
