Our kids (quite literally) ran through a group of chickens, eyed up some pigs and ran around in the fields. In that time, Ashley captured their sweet and sly little spirits perfectly. Simply put, Ash is amazing. We had the privilege of having her shoot our very small intimate wedding ceremony. During the proceedings you could barely tell she was there, allowing our guests to fully engage and participate in the moment. However, when we reviewed the photos, Ash had managed to catch every subtle piece of emotion on both our faces as well as those of our guests. And at the most perfect times, no less. To be honest, I don't like having my picture taken, both because of the often posed process as well as the typical results, but Ash knew all the right tricks. She managed to amass a great number of shots with those perfectly natural expressions that everyone wants, without any of the painstaking goading or awkward positioning. We really can't tell you enough how much we loved working with Ash and how much we loved the results she produced. If you have the chance to work with her, definitely go for it! We always leave thinking theres going to be no good shots because our kid is was a grump on picture day for a variety of reasons (sick, teething, kid refused to nap etc). Anyone who has ever tried to plan an event from a distance knows what a headache it can be. And if you’re just starting, consider this your warning. But thanks to Ash, I have nothing but picture perfect memories of my wedding. My whole experience with Ash Nayler Photography had the potential to be disaster. I had just found out my friend couldn't photograph my wedding, so I was left devastated with a long list of photography demands I was certain I could only ask a friend to do. So I called up Ash just six weeks short of my wedding and asked her to make miracles happen for a stranger. From the first phone call Ash was so professional, accommodating and immediately started soothing my fears. We needed someone to take a trek deep in the woods to capture the place we first fell in love. In to snow, mud and complete with gun shots and hunting dogs in the background. I kept waiting for her to say it was too much and she’d need to back out, especially when she was driving down what would appear in passing to be a path with all of us in HER car. But to my amazement and delight she, along with her second shooter Agatha, did it. The pictures are amazing, but most importantly she managed to capture a very intimate place in exactly the way I envisioned. Just awesome.

Ash has photographed my family on two occasions. She’s always been so kind, friendly, and easy going which definitely is an asset when working with little ones. Ash’s photos never disappoint. They are always beautiful and timeless. She is always able to capture my kiddos little personalities.
