Having my dogs photo shoot with Alex from Houndstooth Studio was the most positive experience. From start to finish the service was friendly and welcoming. Colleen in office who books your appointments for the shoot and collection of the photos to Alex doing the actual shoot and meeting with you for choosing the photos you want printed. The whole experience was positive, fun and one I will never forget. Alex is a true artist and her talents are second to none. Thank you so much. So , so happy with my photographs that Alex took recently of my two gorgeous labs, I am a return customer. I had Alex photograph my older lab when she was 2 , 9 years ago and just had to ask her to do my new baby girl along with updated photos of my old precious girl . As usual Alex was a master at making them feel comfortable and even my son commented on how clever Alex is and also Alex's admin/support is just wonderful too . We cannot say enough good things about Alex and Houndstooth Studio. Friendly, professional, our little dog was so chilled with Alex. The photos are absolutely beautiful and I am so thrilled with them. We never felt pressured at all and the efficiency and organisation made purchasing over Skype seamless. Alex is an incredible photographer, I have an anxious whippet who is nervous with new people but the way Alex connected with her was jaw dropping, I couldn't believe it. I realise why Alex is such a skilled animal photographer as her ability to connect, gain the trust of and work with animals is innate, and truly amazing to see. It was a privilege to see her in action with Sassy. And the photos.... just incredible. I am counting down the days until my picture arrives. The prices of the photos may seem expensive, but you are paying for an artwork, as well as the lifetime of acquiring skill and knowledge, so they are justified in my eyes. Alex has photographed all my pets over the course of a few years, and I treasure the photos, framed and in pride of place in my home. And of course Marshmallow is just a daft and ditzy delight, she is lucky to have Alex as a mum.

We had the most amazing experience at Houndstooth Studio. Our puppy Luna was completely besotted with Alex! Alex knew exactly how to get our pup to respond to the camera, she was so patient and kind and we have the most incredible photos. The whole experience was flawless and Colleen, the business admin officer was so friendly and made sure all questions we had were answered and that we had all the necessary information.
