I agree with Saul. I have never written a review before but due to the horrible attitude of the photographer I wish to make sure other parents are aware how bad the service is. We took our 1 month old baby for a passport picture and the photographer was in a hurry to close the shop. He asked us to wake the baby outside his shop. Told us find a spot on the mall benches. He gave us 5 minutes to wake the baby and wished us good luck finding another photographer. I had always gone there for passport pictures as its close to the passport office but now I will rather go to Walmart. At least they are more accommodating.

FABULOUS place! I tried other passport picture places and I always looked washed out, pale and blotchy. Then I tried Photo Plus on recommendation on my family photographer. What a joy! The photographer lady took the time to make sure that everything is as it should, took a couple of pictures, showed them to me on the camera for approval before she disappeared behind the counter and worked on the file. The final picture turned out very nice for a passport picture - definitely the nicest one I've ever had and definitely recommend the studio!

I went for a new born passport pic - newborns are hrs and hopefully yours cooperates but He managed to get my newborn’s picture in a couple of minutes we had tried before and failed at Walmart and it was cheaper than Walmart only $20. I did call to check if there’s any specific instructions and he was clear that the baby had to be wide awake. We were lucky no one was really there when we went but I can see the issue if there are multiple people waiting the space is tiny.

Poor customer service. Women should avoid it. My wife brought our baby for a passport photo, and you would think that a photographer who advertises baby photos would understand that young ones are hard to shoot. She was treated in a condescending and downright rude manner, and left feeling insulted.

Needed a passport photo for my 5-month old son. First attempt was at Lawblaws up on Taunton -- that attempt took over half an hour and was an immediate rejection. We tried this place in the Whitby Mall as it's close to the passport office. He took the photo in less than 5 minutes and was perfect. Photo accepted. I highly recommend you go here if you need your passport photo taken quickly and efficiently.

Had passport photos of my three boys taken at Photo Plus at the Whitby Mall and I couldn't have been more happy! I have a son with special needs who required 40 minutes to take his photo! Mario was kind and patient going as far as asking my son his favourite music and playing it on his iPhone, supplying endless Kleenex (there were a lot of tears) and buying him a chocolate treat (even asking about allergies!!) The photos were absolutely perfect (and Service Canada can be sticklers about this!) and even though the process took 45 minutes because my son was so scared I didn't once feel rushed - I even offered to come back and try again but Mario insisted we keep trying!! And we succeeded - finally getting "the money shot" of my little boy!

After getting my child’s photos done at wal mart and rejected by passport Canada we went here for new ones. The worker was very nice and made the process quick and effortless with my 3 year olds pictures. I would recommend this shop and the Whitby passport office any day.

Not even worth for one star rating. Worse photo shop ever. One shot photo and no review. My face looked ugly， necklace flip to left side and my son opened his mouth and halfway close his eyes in picture. How can we use these pictures for passport?

worst place ever. I went there once to take a passport photo for my baby and the guy asked me to wake the baby up.. so we woke the baby up and return to tell us to change the baby cloths to something other than blue... we did and return to tell us sorry I don't take photos for babies !!!! what!! why you didn't say that from the beginning. The guy was super rude and when we tried to wake the baby up in the store he asked us to leave and do it outside to serve the next customer although we waited in the line like everybody else. We ended up going to walmart where we got the picture taken in 5 minutes and for half the price. This is the kind of business I hate... The business that was lucky enough to open beside service Canada where guaranteed customers are available for passport photo. They don't care for customer satisfaction or customer service... they simply say if you don't like us just get out we have plenty of other customers to serve.

I had my passport photo done at Costco. It was terrible. I stopped here on my way to the passport office and had my photo redone. What a difference. The colours are more life like and warm. Considering that I have to have the photo for 10 years it was definitely worth the marginally higher cost.

Really rude and standoff-ish guy. He wouldn't answer any basic questions I had and repeatedly insisted I made an appointment. I asked about the business photo shoot; what I needed to do or bring, how long it took, if it was the right type of photo for what I was looking for, what the difference was between business and passport shots were. Very awkward and uncomfortable.
