Chelsey did our engagement session in Jan 2019. Since my partner and I aren't planning our wedding in the near near future, it was really important to us to get the best engagement pictures that we could to tide us over until then. She made us comfortable (even in -10 weather), gave us the perfect prompts, and took the most amazing photos we could have asked for. She is patient, kind, and easy to work with. We had an absolute blast during the process of our shoot and left in high spirits after Chelsey had us whispering sweet things in each other's ears and remembering our most embarrassing moments, too. It's a fun little secret to see the photos of us genuinely laughing and know that it's because we were talking about the first time we farted in front of one another, or the moments that made us the most proud of each other. She is extremely talented and clearly passionate about what she does. Chelsey was easy to contact via email and gave us our photos much faster than expected. The whole process has been a blast and I wish we could do them all the time! Can't wait to work with her for our wedding.

My family bought my fiancé and I a session with Chelsey as an engagement gift. They did extensive research on photographers in our area and landed on her because they thought her authentic and expressive style was something you don't always see with engagement photos. Chelsey got back to us right away and was super responsive leading up to our shoot (I had some concerns about getting rained out). The shoot went really well! Chelsey was accommodating and understanding about what we were and weren't comfortable doing. She also directed us just enough so that we didn't feel lost but also didn't feel too posed. She sent our gallery to us sooner than expected and, after the fact, was really receptive to our thoughts on the pictures. Chelsey is incredible! We were nervous for our engagement shoot as neither of us were particularly well versed in posing. After our complimentary engagement shoot, all of our worries were put to rest. Chelsey worked with us using cues to help bring out natural emotions and reactions. She dealt with hyper groomsmen, a small army of sunset summoned mosquitoes, and a packed venue while capturing our moments. When we got the photos, we were over the moon. Chelsey is a phenomenal photographer! My fiancé hired her to shoot our engagement proposal at his family cottage in the Cobourg area. Chelsey made the entire evening one to remember by taking us through a photoshoot following the proposal. You need to hire Chelsey Cunningham! She is an amazing artist, excellent at her craft, and a very professional business woman. We hired her for our wedding and engagement photos. She is very easy to communicate with. She provides useful tips for preparing to take photos. She uses excellent software which allows for easy signing of contracts and receiving and sharing photos. Leading up to the wedding, she sent us emails on different topics that helped prepare us for our wedding day. She was the only wedding vendor that we had absolute trust & faith in because of her professionalism and how she kept in touch with us. Chelsey has an eye for excellent photos. She has a quiet presence about her - she was like a stealthy ninja on the wedding day. She captured everything but I didn't notice her taking many of the photos! Her turnaround time for sending the finished photos is extremely impressive. She even sent us beautiful "sneak peek" photos while we were on honeymoon. I am very particular about the way I look in photos, and I don't really know how to pose or what to do with my face; Chelsey gave me easy cues to follow and also took plenty of candid shots. I now have more photos than I can count where I look like an absolute bombshell/goddess/supermodel/etc. (also props to hair + makeup team). It means so much to me that Chelsey's photos captured the magic of our day. We didn't hire a videographer - but we didn't need one! Chelsey's photos tell a beautiful story. We will forever be grateful to Chelsey for capturing our wedding.

It is very fortunate to have Chelsey work on our first couple's photos! She has a super good sense in capturing the romance. What I really like about her is that she can identify our taste very fast simply through emails and a few minutes' talks. With her recommendation, we got an ideal place and perfect timing for the shoot. We are very grateful that Chelsey was accommodating enough to get up early for the beautiful sunrise light and take extra gear for studio style photos at the same time.
