My wife heard about Joelle at work and previewed some of her work online. We were very impressed and decided to contact her regarding maternity photos. The photos turned out so beautiful that we decided we had to get our sons new born photos done. I have never been to a baby shoot but it was a very pleasant experience from the fathers side, we were very looked after and the previews that we were shown of the photos were phenomenal. Her attention to detail is evident in her work and the care that she took with our son to make sure she always got the right angle and shot. I chose C'est L'Amour photography after seeing the beautiful newborn photos done of my friends baby. I went in for a consultation prior to my due date and was shown the space and available props/outfits. I was instantly put at ease. Joelle's demeanor is calm and reassuring even without the presence of baby and she has lots of props/backgrounds to suit whatever your preference is. She was willing to try poses of my own choosing that I found on the internet while having tons of great ideas of her own. After seeing lots of examples of her work no 2 photos are alike and all are beautiful. Once my baby arrived we came to do the photo session with our spirited 3 and a half year old son. It's a testament to both her and her assistant that even my son was calm throughout the whole experience. The room was warm and the props/outfits were all clean and in excellent condition. Joelle's attention to detail is remarkable and her ability to roll with whatever my baby needed at the time showed her flexibility and adaptability. She spent the time needed to capture small details that we would not want to forget as our baby grows. We had our family photos taken by Joelle and our two year old was not having it, Joelle had the magic touch and was able to calm him down including us parents. She was able to put everyone at ease and she was able to get our two year old engaged in the photo shoot, which allowed us to complete the session seamlessly; we got priceless family images with a happy toddler! Joelle is simply amazing to work with. I contacted her last minute just as we came out of the second lockdown for newborn + family photos as we were becoming a family of 5. Given the pandemic, she had scheduled a Zoom call with me and showed me her studio and discussed with me at length what I had in mind even though we did not know the gender of our baby, then (surprise!). Although we had booked our session to be a week after my scheduled induction, I went into labour and had my baby 2 weeks before that and I quickly emailed her and let her know. She fit us in right away! The session itself was so calm and peaceful it did not even feel like we were doing a photo session with kids, let alone a newborn! She truly makes you feel at home in her studio and is very quick with any older kids to get perfect pictures. She also worked her magic with our newborn and got such amazingly precious photos. We have been so happy with her services. Although after our session we went into lockdown again, I can safely recommend her to anyone after Ontario reopens again. She was very diligent about practicing safe measures by wearing a mask and constantly hand sanitizing. Highly highly recommend! I love my pictures so much! Thank you, Joelle!

Went for our first family photos with our 5 month old baby. Right from the beginning Joelle was very inviting and relaxed which made the whole nerve-racking experience with a 5 month old a lot easier. Usually he's a little time bomb ready to go off in a burst of screams, but as soon as we got him dressed in the change room and sat him down for the photos, Joelle had our little man giggling and smiling. A few breaks here and there for him to rest and he was always ready to go with his smiles. The proofs were finished and sent to us the next day. The biggest problem we have is choosing which photos to keep. All of them were done excellently. Will definitely be coming back for his next photo sessions.

We did our newborn photos with her for our second child and her photos far exceeded my expectations. She was able to capture our little miss in a way that my family will truly never forget. As a nursing mom, it was nice to have a space to nurse in private if needed, she also had treats and drinks ready for us which I thought was thoughtful; she also had extra pampers and wipes if needed for baby! In comparison to our first photographer for my son, it was obvious and apparent that Joelle went above and beyond to create beautiful and priceless memories of our daughter.
