Flashback photography creates beautiful photos that also capture the personalities of the subjects perfectly. I met Elaine at a bridal show while scouting for a friend, and was blown away by her photos and attitude towards photography. Her albums caught our eye first (they are high quality, and clearly painstakingly designed on every page). But what really stood out was how much she cares about the art she creates. Having now done our engagement photos with her, I highly recommend hiring her for your wedding or frankly any photography. The photos we have received show us so naturally, as though they are candids taken by a friend (if the friend was also a phenomenal photographer who always got our good angles). She also handles light very creatively, and each photo is truly a piece of art, rather than a staged portrait like so many wedding photos seem to be. I could ramble about her photos for ages, so I'll finish by saying that personally, Elaine is also a delight to work with. She is kind and open, and professional in all aspects. She also did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable, so that we wouldn't look awkward in our photos (which I think is a common fear for those of us not used to photoshoots!) We can't wait to have her capture our wedding.

I met Elaine at a wedding show about 1.5 years before my wedding day, and right from the first moment I met her I knew we needed to have her as our photographer. Elaine is professional, artistic, energetic, and will guide you through the whole process if you are like me and have no idea how to pose for a photo. Elaine was fantastic to work with! I met Elaine at a wedding show in 2019 and instantly knew she was the perfect fit for what we were looking for for our wedding. Her pictures are amazing and the albums are absolutely gorgeous. From the very beginning she was super easy to talk to and work with. Since we were getting married in Summer 2020 we did our engagement session January 2020. She was such a trooper coming up to our area and working in the snow. She made the experience super enjoyable. On our wedding day we had both Elaine and her assistant for our ceremony and reception. Dealing with planning a wedding during covid was super stressful but through it all Elaine was great to work with. She was super enthusiastic about our day and made sure we got all the shots we wanted and more. The turn around time for us to see the completed digital album was great.
