Interesting how most of the great reviews have only 1 review in total and no photos! We had a bad experience while taking a newborn passport photo for an infant. The lady was very condescending when I told her I have a very smiley baby and the photo she used was bad. She told me I was lucky that my baby had her eyes open as the requirements state they don’t have to be. That’s absolutely incorrect - the Canadian government website clearly states that they need to be open! So hopefully she’s not advising other parents of the same. When I voiced my displeasure, the right thing to do would be to take a new digital photo and not sound condescending toward me. For future reference, ideally the store should take a photo, then show the customer the photo they plan to print and then print it! Won’t be returning again

Me n my friend went to take passport pic at this photo studio. We told the woman at the store that we need it for Canadian passport. She pulled away her price chart at the counter saying you know if you need it for a different country it would be cheaper. For Canadian passport it is $22.00. We found her comment to be kind of odd because we told you we need it for Canadian PP so why are you suggesting the price for another country. Then we asked why is it so expensive for the Canadian PP? Her response was that you know that this is "Oakville" you people are not from around here I can see. She was so rude and grumpy old woman. any way we took the photo and she kept saying you guys are not from here and are you sure you need this for a Canadian passport? Yes we do! why you keep asking us the same question. Finally she took 2 shots and went to print them out. We asked her if we could have a look before she printed them she said no we have to pay first. We paid the $22.00. then she came with the photos they were so blotchy and dark from the poor lighting in the store. When we asked about it, She said oh that is how Canadian want it for the PP if they reject it then you can come back and I will do it again at a reduced price. While we were there another lady came in and she was really upset with her about the same thing. the customer complained that she told her from the get go that she did not like the photos as they did not look one bit like her and they were too dark, but she told her they were ok. Now she had to waste her time and money to come back to have them redone. This woman is very tricky and cunning she try to get your money twice. Customer service was really poor, rude and of the lowest standard in Oakville. This place is a rip-off don't go there. Find another photo studio for this kind of money. Now today the Canadian Passport Office rejected the photos and we have to do them again. We went elsewhere and got them now for $9.00 for 2 copies.

The lady taking the picture complained that my 4 years old autistic son was big enough to know how to take a photo. He was behaving very well, he was not crying, he stayed still, but it’s hard for him to look at the camera. We prior made appointment by phone, there was no one else in the store, no reason for her to try to rush things. And yes, she knew my kid was autistic. Not a inclusive store at all. I’ve been to other photo place and they were very nice and understanding. I left the store crying and I’m never ever coming back there.

THEIR PICTURES WERE REJECTED TWICE BY THE PASSPORT OFFICE. Went in to take a passport photo. Pictures were rejected by the passport office because it was blurry/bad/unclear, so I went back and told them that. They demanded proof (ie the letter from the passport office), so I had to drive out of town to get the letter (waste of time & gas $). They took additional pictures for free after I showed them the letter. Those second pictures were ALSO REJECTED BY THE PASSPORT OFFICE too. Got another letter as proof (again had to drive out of town to get it), showed them, and wanted my money back. Flat out said no. Refused refund even though the pictures were not up to standard. Didnt want to risk another delay with my passport so I had to pay another place to get pictures taken for a third time because this place was too incompetant to take pictures correctly TWICE. Also, passport pictures ARE MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper elsewhere. Literally anywhere else - Walmart, Shoppers, anywhere. And they probably wont be rejected TWICE, like my pictures here were. How can they advertise doing passsport pictures when they clearly are not capable of taking them correctly??? And then they dont offer refunds for you wasting your money. Honestly was so mad at the delay this caused to my passport (and therefore my job) I contemplated suing for false advertising, etc. I wonder if the statute of limitations is still in effect to sue. .... Wish i could give them 0 stars

The lady was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Service was quick and straight-forward. The pictures came out a little blurry and sticky, but there was no smudging and the paper is thick and strong. The store also had a variety of different photo frames and albums, though they were a bit on the pricey side.

Wow. What terrible quality photo printing. I went to print some photos from our wedding to send out as thank yous and they are unusable. The colours are misprinted and now I have to get them printed again, basically meaning I've just flushed the money I've spent on prints. If you are looking for even basic quality prints go anywhere else.

Never never go to this place. I wanted to give 0 star, but no option for that. The owner boasted that she had more than 10 years of experience for ID photos, but the image is extremely blurred. 2nd: the lady keep on using flash to take photo to a newborn infant, crazy!. 3rd: one eye of my baby can not open because she was just 1 week old, the lady is impatient. 4th: this ID photo experience is the worst in my life but the price is the highest! I hope the shop close soon to benefit people!!!

After calling Shoppers and Walmart to take BB passport photos they were extremely rude and refuse to do it. The moment I called this business the lady who answered was extremely friendly. We came in and it literally took us a few seconds for her to take the photo and we were out in 10 minutes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for baby passport photos.

Zoom-In-Photo provides excellent service, a great turnaround time, and outstanding technical support. I have had many occasions when I required custom photo finishing advice, and Vesna was always more than willing to offer her support. This is something that you will not be able to find at the “big box stores and warehouses” that can only offer very limited advice and support. I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for that old fashioned notion of customer service that we use to have back in the “analogue age” before digital became dominant.

I've been looking for somewhere that develops film quickly, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Zoom-In develops all of their customers' film every Monday night. That means if you drop off a roll, or disposable camera, on the weekend it will be ready for Tuesday afternoon. This service is way more reliable than other camera stores or photo centres that I've tried in Oakville, as sometimes it will take weeks to get photos back from bigger, name brand stores. I am picking up my first developed photos today and am excited to see how they turned out! EDIT: They look great!

DO NOT develop photos here. I have been using disposables for years and they have never turned out this bad. The owner was very rude to me and insisted multiple times I didn’t know how to use the camera, she yelled at my on the phone and in store. Fortunately I was able to get my money back but she threatened to call the Henry’s owner on me and shredded the 60 photos in front of me. I’ve been printing at Henry’s for years and will continue to go there, it may take more time to develop but trust me it’s worth it, especially when you’ll be having this pictures as memories for the rest of your life. I appreciate the refund but this was very bad service, it would have been different if she spoke to me respectfully. Edit: I think you can imagine the quality of service just by reading the owner’s response to this honest review
