We had a an amazing experience with Julia for our newborn photoshoot! We heard some great things about her from our friends who happened to be her clients. So we kind of expected good results. But she surpassed all our expectations. The photos were great. She is amazing with babies. I wish she offered classes on the art of comforting the newborns to first time parents. God knows we really could use it! We just sat and watch her do her magic. A few weeks later, we got the pictures back and we couldn't be happier. We'll definitely be back for our next one or for the milestones photo shoots. She does maternity photoshoots as well if you might be interested in that. She does have maternity dresses for you to use. The collection of props and backgrounds that she uses is huge.

I 1st went to rewind photography 1 year ago. I just had twin girls and wanted to do a newborn photo shoot close to home so I found them on Google, to be honest i didnt know what to expect, but I must say I am very impressed, Julia and her husband were like the baby whisper... they were friendly, professional and experienced as they have twins of their own. We were so happy with their work we actually purchased gift packages for 2 of our other friends / family who had babies as well. This Sat we went back to do our twins 1 year cake smash photo shoot..... this was not an easy task, i was really stressed out and worried about how the pictures would turn out... 3 days later (today) we just received the email with all the pictures, slide show and bday video etc and i must say i was blown away. Pictures are stunning capturing all the moments, the collage and the slide show was a nice added value. This is an excellent husband and wife team who have the patience and creativity to work with adults and babies/kids alike. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how well they were able to capture our newborn girl in so many poses and using a wide variety of props despite her being a little fussy. Julia was amazing rocking and shushing our baby to sleep in the most adorable poses while Dima was super quick at taking all the pictures. We also really enjoyed the family pictures that they took of the three of us and were pleasantly surprised at how well they turned out as my husband and I are not very photogenic. I do now and will continue to recommend Rewind Photography to anyone and everyone who is looking for a fun and rewarding photography experience. Julia is very friendly, informative and educated us well about the service, benefits of taking pictures at earlier stage etc. We liked that everything was up front and it was not like other photographers, who gave a price and then added other charges. Julia was very flexible with the booking date and worked with us to ensure it was convenient for us. Julia was patient, professional and friendly on the day of the photography. Our baby took nearly 40 mins to fall asleep and Julia assured us that it's fine. Once he was a sleep, Julia had the magic to keep him calm throughout the photo shoot. She also welcomed our props and ideas. We are very pleased that we hired Julia. Now, we are eager for 3 weeks to pass so we can see all the pictures!

As a person they are really friendly kind and nice-but if you want very professional work on your precious memory in pictures than you might be disappointed. What edit in pictures you will get probably you can do your self at home by downloading PS express app in your phone. I don’t see any professional touch up in my pictures even after asking her to edit and no response since I asked her to send me again. Thank you. I must say you will get a lot of pictures they are nice enough to share all the pictures they take but it is great if she just give you few with better professional touch up edit.

A few days ago I was looking for a photographer for our newborn and through a google search I found Rewind. After emailing Julia and speaking to her subsequently on the phone I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly she was willing to take us in and that she worked around my schedule. When my husband and I, along with our newborn, went in today for the photo shoot Julia gave us as much time as we needed (almost an hour) to feed and settle down our baby. The photo shoot props used were so adorable and I was surprised that she used such a variety of different ones. My husband and I walked away today with only great things to say about the experience! Dealing with babies can be difficult but Julia was so skilled at keeping our baby calm and asleep throughout the shoot - we were in awe! I cannot wait to see the final pictures and will definitely be coming back to Rewind in the future!

Rewind Photography is a terrific place to take your memorable pictures. First and foremost they make you feel at home and the atmosphere is so relaxed that great pictures just come out naturally. Dimi grabbed the photos, spending around 2 hours getting full length and close up photos of baby and also some with mom and dad. Happy to have these memories captured, highly recommend.

Our review comes much delayed, though our experience with Rewind Photography was beyond exceptional! We were not able to take photos within the first few days of our daughters birth and because of this we felt rushed to get to the photos done by the typical 14 day cut off by the rest of the "hipster style" new born photographers in the city of Toronto. We actually reached out to all of the top photographers and the biggest difference we found was that Julia and Dima of Rewind were friendly and accommodating from the first conversations! They even made time in their already booked 6 session day to bring us in earlier in the morning to get the photos done! We chose to book them when our daughter was 5 weeks old already and they had no issue with this. They were upfront about the types of photos we would get because she was a little bit older and we understood. We chose them based on their website's work and upfront rates. There were no hidden fees and they were patient about the types of photos we would get from the beginning! Julia and Dima are a great team as Julia did her very best to make sure our daughter was comfortable, she was creative and very professional and the very same with Dima as the photographer in capturing the photos at the right time for baby, not by the time that we set. At 5 weeks old, baby fussed but Julia had great techniques in putting her right back to sleep and we were still able to capture some of the sleepytime newborn poses. They were very flexible enough to let us use some of our own props in the shots also which made the photos so special! Our edited photos were beautiful and came in punctual, in the 3 weeks timeline that we were given! We are so happy with our photos and are so thankful to Dima and Julia for taking the time to capture these precious memories for us! If you are considering Rewind Photography, do not hesitate! Due to covid we were unable to do a traditional newborn photo shoot. Julia was wonderful in accommodating us outdoors in a beautiful park where she did a combination of newborn and family photos. We were so pleasantly surprised when she arrived with a wide variety of props and outfits to capture newborn photos as best as possible. Julia was very patient with both kids and very good at calming the baby. Julia was wonderful at guiding us into natural positions, making us feel at ease, never rushing and coming up with creative positions. We loved the end result and have received many compliments on the photos. We look forward to working with Julia again in the future.

Had a great experience with Julia and Dima! We had an infant photo session with our 7 week old son who would not sleep and before the shoot was fairly fussy. They were super patient and worked so well with him, he didn't complain once! They were very professional and seemed to create the cutest shots. It was amazing how gently Julia worked with our boy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The props were so cute, we can't wait to see the photos!

I took my new born (2weeks old) very patient couple, my baby wouldn't fall asleep at first they made me feel very comfortable allowed me to feed and change him before we started the photos which helped him to fall asleep. My experience with rewind was amazing! The couple were also very open to ideas or props that the family braught in. My baby was able to wear hand made clothing that his great grandmother made him. The couple has a special touch with newborns it was beautiful to watch and I can't wait to see the final outcome.
