4/6 posters I brought in to be blockmounted had huge flaws after, they either were unsavable or had to be seriously trimmed down to get rid of the issue. I had been warned by framing stores in town that there had been many more issues in the last year. So I accept I should have maybe been more cautious. But what really bugged me was that they didn't tell me about the issues, I discovered them when picking up. Like, they hoped I wouldn't notice. Bubbles in the laminate, scratches, edging missing strip of colour. It was very very obvious, one was a dime sized flaw in the middle of a flat black section on an art piece alive 8 x 17 inches. no quality control at all. It was like I was getting punked and I just had to walk away.

Wow - I wanted to like this local place but the quality of the work and the customer service left me feeling like i was in some sort of what not to do in customer service twighlight zone. This place destroyed my print and made me pay for it with no apologies. First off they completely botched the job of transferring an original screenprint (that was an irreplaceable gift) to canvas, but pretended not to notice as they were ringing my order up. Then they admitted it "shouldn't have been done" but didnt offer any options to fix the situation other than give my money back. when i expressed i wasnt happy they said they would see what they could do... a few days later they called back and said my print was ready. I went in and they had scanned the print, sort of corrected the smeared ink in photo shop, and redone the transfer. While it looked ok, I wanted to see the original to compare. The woman there had completely the most unbelievable tone and said it was impossible because they had DESTROYED my original?! When I asked why they had done that she said because I didn't like it, they didnt think it was worth keeping. I said I thought it would have been nice to have been consulted in that decision and she demanded to know why I would even want to see it if I wasn't happy with it? She was so rude I was stunned so I suggested I wasn't sure whether the color matching was identical and she lost it and said that it was impossible because the color matching was PERFECT and that color matching is "what they do". I left after that because there was no point arguing with someone who clearly thought they were SO right. Ridiculous. If they tried to pass off such sloppy work in the first place, why should I trust their capacity to correct the situation? Never mind they never thought to consult me on transfering something they knew shouldn't be done, or DESTROYING my original print. This was my first experience with this company and I can't believe I paid for it! Never again!

I use Artbox to create woodmount laminated prints of my artwork on a regular basis. When I first got the prints made, my expectations were met far and beyond. I have had trouble in the past with other printers getting the colours right when reproducing my art- but with Artbox I don't even have to proof them because they have been spot on every single time. I absolutely love the prints and my customers do too- they often comment on what amazing quality they are. My experience with the folks at Artbox is that they help in whatever way they can whether it be getting back super quick to emails, successfully meeting my sometimes last minute orders and are open to working with new ideas I have. I have been working with Alan Moss and staff at Art Box for several years now. I am an artist and am particular about my prints and having them colour matched properly. Often I can hardly tell the difference between the original and the print. The staff is courteous and helpful and my orders are always on time when I need them. I have been a customer of Artbox since it opened and have been engaging Alan's services for nearly10 years. He has looked after all the framing and spreading for the art at my wife's shop in Victoria. These folks have always done good work. If a particular piece or job presents challenges or problems they let us know, explain the issues and recommend solutions. English is very much a second language for my wife and Alan has always been patient and particular ensuring that understanding is clear on both sides. I have used Artbox's service in my business, printing signs, design work, menus and business cards. The work has always been excellent. There have been a couple of occasions where they haven't got it quite right the first time and the fix has always been taken care of quickly and without fuss or extra charge. At times I have needed things done with very tight time frames and Artbox has come through. Alan is happy to come out and look first hand at my work site out in Sidney to understand context and his advice has been informed and helpful. And, perhaps most important for my business and my time, he will tell me when he can't do something and will recommend someone who can: no buggering around here. I get great service from these folks and excellent value for money. Both my wife and myself take pride in our businesses. We are comfortable working with Artbox and trust Alan and his team. The are a great local choice to look after all our printing and framing work.

I've used Artbox for a number of years now. Going back to the first experience I had with them, I was so happy how great the service was and the quality of product they can turn around. I had used other printers in the past who had done a great job, but thought I'd give Artbox a chance as they're a local company. I made the right decision. Seeing my art come to life in there shop is such a an amazing experience. Not only can they provide an amazing product, but there customer service is beyond excellent. I am always in the loop, I can always schedule times to talk, and they have a wealth of knowledge in so many fields. Beyond their services, I really trust everybody there. Alan and Terry are right there to give me an honest opinion and that is sometimes hard to find these days. If you need anything printed.. these are the guys in town to go see. I am excited every time I go in to pick up a new print.. they go above and beyond.

I have been using ArtBox to print and mount my photos for a number of years. Sometimes I print my own photos, and sometimes I will entrust Terry at ArtBox to print my art. We have worked long enough together that I know he will print the photo exactly as I have envisioned it. I can always count on Terry to solve the sometimes complex framing and/or mounting challenges I like to use. He is generous with his advice when I need an outside opinion, and more than once his suggestions have improved a project I am working on. I have found his professionalism to be outstanding. On those very rare occasions when a print or a mounting solution does not meet my very high standards, he acknowledges the issue and will fix or reprint the problem. I have recommended numerous friends and colleagues to Terry at ArtBox - both professional photographers such as myself, and non-professionals.
