I had trouble finding a photographer that would photograph a wedding for only an hour. Many photographers had two hour minimums, and my partner and I just didn’t have two hours of photos in us. But then we found Aly! Aly was very responsive through email/text/phone and super easy to communicate with. Her work is incredible, and I love the way she captures light and colours. This was super important to me as I had planned our ceremony around sunset. My partner and I both feel awkward in front of a camera and were very nervous about having our photos taken. We had the pleasure of working with Aly to capture some fun and candid family photos. Aly was easy to communicate with and responded immediately to any questions I had. At our photo shoot she had to contend with a high tide, two toddlers, and a wet dog who wanted her to play fetch and despite those hurdles, she remained poised and energetic throughout. She was warm and friendly and put my kids at ease. I wanted pictures to celebrate my daughters newfound delight in walking and she delivered. We were beyond pleased with the range of pictures we received. She captures moments that feel real and raw. And I love that she included some of the funnier shots/out takes with us.
