DESCRIPTION

Here you will see the feddbacks of real people who buy the products of Light & Lens Photography (Photo Studio) near Nova Scotia (Canada).

At the moment the business gets a score of 2.3 stars out of 5 and that rating is based on 15 reviews.

You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is quite scarce, and it is based on a very large number of opinions, so we may conclude that the assessment is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to place scores when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

This Photo Studio is included in the category of Photographer.

REVIEWS OF Light & Lens Photography IN Nova Scotia

Nolan Turnbull

I originally left a poor review based on the cost of the photographs and timeline for me to receive my photos. Since then light and lens and Jason reached out to me, and I got my photos earlier than anticipated. Thank you Light and Lens.

Want every picture to look as though you've been dipped in grease? well you've found the right place! not only that, they'll also gouge your wallet as well! :)

Keagan McKay

Super friendly!

I had my passport done. They accommodated me quickly and was pleased with the picture.

We ordered graduation pictures in July and was told (after several attempts to speak to someone) that we would get them in September as they were experiencing some issues. It's now October and we still haven't received the pictures or a response from them. Stay away from them!!! I only gave them 1 star because that was the lowest it would allow! [After posting this review, I received a call from them and the photos were delivered. ]

It has been a month since I ordered and paid for my kids photos. Mailbox is always full and Facebook responder says to reach Jason on his cel phone. To no avail. Communication is the absolute worst. Must be good enough to have some school contracts. Sad these reviews are what seems to be required to get some type of reply from this business

Terrible experience. They do not communicate well. The sitting fee in order to get a yearbook photo does not include touch ups (apparently) until you purchase a package. I did not like any of the photos taken since they make you smile with and without teeth providing you with more than have of the proofs of photos you do not like. Would not recommend unless you want to pay 70+ dollars on 1 edited photo and a half decent yearbook submission. Have heard many complaints about this business and I can confirm I will not be going back for future needs.

ordered my children's school pictures through them. very happy they keep the pictures on file they still had them even after the due date

this is a horrible money hunger place. My friend and I went to take grads photos, we were told $24.5 each which includes photos to be send to our email, and we can choose one photo so they can do the retouch. 2 days later, we each received tiny sized photos with no touch up. we asked if we could have the original photos even without any touch up. we were told to pay $49.5 extra for that. If I know we are going to pay $24.5 for absolutely no value, I would never have wasted my time.

Don't bother to send them a message through messenger. They won't answer your questions.

I had a horrible experience at this business in November 2018 getting photos done for Acadia graduation. The photographer was rude and spent the entire session insulting me and making me feel awful about myself. He told me that my hair is "problematic", complained about all of the editing he will need to do, and even made comments about scheduling retakes before we were even done of the session so that I could "address my issues". I left the studio in tears and am still very upset about this over a year later. I ended up graduating a year late in 2020, and am still too anxious about getting any photos redone due to this experience. A good photographer should be able to have clients leave the studio feeling good about themselves and their experience, and the opposite held true at Light & Lens. Acadia graduates: get your photos done somewhere else, you'll be better for it.

Dave Bhoj

Horrible job. The guy forces you to smile and gives you 2 seconds to do so. Their communication is awful. They promised to do a touch up and after several communication, I was not satisfied. I am extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this business at all. Just awful.

Brit

I'm always very happy with the pictures I get taken here. They seem very friendly and patient, and go the extra mile to make sure they get a decent pic (which isn't always easy with babies and toddlers). Prices are also very fair. Lastly, they are quick to answer the phone if you have any questions.

Cindy MacLennan

I ordered my son's graduation photos the first of June; I've been given many dates when I was to have received the photos but never have. Now my phone calls are ignored. I would not recommend this company.
