It’s obvious to see that the quality of the photos is outstanding, but the real magic is the way she elicits and captures pure emotion in unique ways. The sessions themselves are fun, and Sarah is so good at getting even the most stubborn and uncooperative kids to participate and enjoy themselves. She is a master of light and colour. Sarah is amazing!! She met with us just over a week ago to do our family photos. It was the first time booking with Sarah but I’d been following her work on Facebook over the last couple years and knew we were going to love her. I was a wee bit worried the shoot would be a complete nightmare with our wildly rambunctious threenager and our 3-month old poop munitions expert, but Sarah immediately connected with our son (the threenager) which made it feel like a get together with friends. In the end it was me that tried to derail the photo shoot, getting drenched by a big ocean wave! Yet, looking at the pics, you’d never know I was soaked right through to my undies. She also managed to catch our baby girl making the most epic Zoolander face! It’s definitely being enlarged. Made into t-shirts. Fridge magnets. Will work perfectly in future when needing to embarrass her in front of her friends. Haha. Seriously, Sarah was so great to work with. She chose a beautiful location that really suited our family. She was flexible with dates - our original date was looking a bit crummy weather-wise and with only a few hours notice she happily moved the shoot to another time for us. She had my son so well entertained, I think he thought the whole thing was a special outing just for him. He even asked if we could go see her again the next day! Our son barely stood still the whole time and yet Sarah captured really gorgeous photos of us AND delivered them three days later!
