Finally, we are told at the end that the paid package does not include 5 poses but rather 5 copies of the same photo ... what to do with the same photo in 5 copies when the objective is to mount a photo frame ????. We therefore feel forced to pay much more to upgrade the package in front of my daughter who is very disappointed with the outcome. If you want a professional shoot, go to a freelance photographer instead ... don't pay for a banner and inappropriate premises anyway for a professional shoot ... sorry ????. (Original) Très déçu! Ma fille et moi avions pris la peine de bien se préparer et d'avoir 2 "kit" pour se changer comme recommandé. On doit laisser notre bagage sur un banc à la porte et se changer dans une petite salle de bain ou dans le backstore à la sauvette, sans crochets pour suspendre nos vêtements (et sans miroir dans le backstore). Ça enlève tout le plaisir d'une séance photo que nous voulions relaxe et dans la folie. Le flash de la caméra fonctionnait 1 fois sur 5 alors ça brisait complètement le rythme...adieu le côté naturel et le fun recherché. Et ça paraît sur le résultat des photos car plusieurs étaient ordinaires pour du professionnel. Pour finir, on nous explique à la fin que le forfait payé ne comprends pas 5 poses mais plutôt 5 copies de la même photo...que faire de la même photo en 5 copies quand l'objectif est de monter un cadre photo ????. On se sent donc forcé de payer beaucoup plus cher pour upgrader le forfait devant ma fille fort déçu du dénouement. Si vous voulez une séance professionnelle, allez plutôt vers un photographe indépendant...ne payez pas pour une bannière et des locaux inapproprié anyway pour une séance professionnelle...désolant ????.

The staff is great and the pictures are amazing. The new location in carrefour is tiny since they paired up with le p'tit dép. Not the best idea. There's barely any room to move around. No big deal. My biggest disappointment is their pricing, I wish they had mid range packages available. Their smallest package starts at 300$ which doesn't make sense to me. they should have a 100-150$ option that gives you more than just one picture !

We had a great experience at Magenta Laval in 2014 and the photos were wonderful so I booked another session in August 2016. It was the worst experience ever. The photographer was a horrible! She didn't know how to pose us, she took one picture at a time for each pose and basically did nothing to try to attract the attention of the children or the adults so basically everyone's eyes are looking in every direction. We barely had any photos to choose from because she had her camera down most of the time (each time the kids would pose well and smile, her camera was down). The photos we got were TERRIBLE!!! But since my brother and parents came from out of town to take these photos, I felt obliged to order something. Biggest waste of money ever! I could have taken better photos with my phone! Too bad we didn't have the same photographer from 2014! We will NEVER go back again!

They cancelled the session 1 week before the event without any other choice of time on the same day, her birthday. We had a great experience at Magenta in Carrefour Laval. The Customer service is one of their biggest assets definitely. Even though our baby was crying a lot on the first appointment, they never made us feel rushed or pressured and in fact, they let us come back for a second photoshoot at no cost so we could have enough and quality pictures. The only thing I would change, is the actual place for taking the pictures is a bit small, but again, no complaints whatsoever. We went today and had the most incredible experience. Vincent and Raph went out of their way to make sure we got the most beautiful pictures. They were energetic, friendly and very patient. We have 3 high energy children including one difficult 2 year old, I had expected to get 2 or 3 good pictures but we got so many! I had trouble narrowing it down to the 11 we chose.
