Lauren was absolutely amazing to have as our wedding photographer. My husband knew her from years ago when she would shoot his band photography, so he knew that she was the gal we needed on our big day. Lauren is a total pro. She arranged the timeline of the day ahead of time with me, and asked upfront about our wishes for the photos (i.e., did we want specific family member photos? specific locations? etc.). We discussed some options in a light, exciting conversation and she was good to go. On the day of our wedding, I was a bundle of nerves. I was getting ready with my bridesmaids all morning and it was fun, but I could feel the tension of anxiety inside. The moment Lauren arrived, that anxiety started to dissipate. She has such a great energy; she really warms up the room. Within a few moments of working with her on some “getting ready” shots, I was laughing and getting more and more excited for the ceremony. Lauren and her assistant photographer were incredible throughout the entire evening. They got EVERYTHING. We had a strolling style reception and two live bands, so there was a lot of action to capture. They nailed it. The candid photos of laughing, dancing, and hugging are some of my favourites from the night. Getting our wedding photos back was so exciting. We were gushing over all of them, and immediately sharing favourites with friends and family. It’s taken me a while to put together our photo album because there are SO MANY good ones! I just really feel that Lauren went above and beyond. We got married at The Drake Hotel so there were a lot of cool aesthetics going on, and she took advantage of all of them. She truly captured the vibe of the evening as well as our unique personalities. We wanted everything to be fun, creative, and beautiful, and that’s exactly what she delivered. Thank you so much Lauren for letting the feeling of our wedding day live on forever in these photos.

Lauren was amazing for both the engagement shoot and the wedding day. She came out in some crazy weather and took amazing photos for our engagement shoot. We have some of the wedding photos back and they are beautiful and captured a lot of emotion in them. She was even able to accommodate us in having a unique photo booth for the day of (something she had never done before) but made it happen and we cannot hear enough great things from our guests. She remembered a lot of small details that we had mentioned to her early in the process and made sure we took some photos that were truly special to me and my wife. We would both recommend Lauren to anyone getting married. She was fun to work with, accommodating, and made the day that much more special.

If you are looking for a photographer for any type of event, and you want someone who will capture the entire essence of the day, your search is complete - Lauren is hands down the best option. Meeting with Lauren was effortless, she made us feel comfortable and natural. We booked her to take both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and it was the best and easiest decision we could have made. As someone who is not a fan of standing to pose for a camera, we were looking for someone who could capture our special moments candidly without them feeling forced, and Lauren embodied just that. Lauren did our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and we could not be happier!!! We just received our wedding photos back and they are absolutely stunning - Lauren captured all the special moments of our wedding day, both the planned/posed shots as well as many candid shots of us and our wedding guests. Looking through our photos felt like reliving our wedding day all over again :) Her editing was fantastic, it is going to be hard (and fun!) to select which photos we are going to use for our wedding album. I'm going to caveat this review by saying we did not hire Lauren as our photographer so you can take this with a grain of salt if you would like. Lauren hosted an Instagram giveaway for a free engagement / portrait session, which ended in early January. My fiance and I both entered, and also tagged a few other people who entered. Unfortunately, more than two months after the giveaway close date, Lauren still hadn't (and still hasn't yet) announced the winner. I attempted to follow up with her twice via Instagram private messages (6 weeks apart) and both were ignored. Several people, including myself, asked for the status by commenting nicely on the original Instagram post, and Lauren responded by saying things like she'll draw tomorrow, or that she was away with little Internet access but will do it later this week. In the meantime, she was posting regularly on Instagram stories and also in Instagram posts. We ended up unfollowing her once we realized she wasn't going to respond or pick a winner because we felt like we couldn't support a business like that. The reason I'm posting this review is not to be petty that she didn't pick me as a winner. We ended up hiring a different photographer in the meantime, which included the engagement shoot, so it wouldn't have made a difference to me. I also did try to contact Lauren privately twice, both times were ignored and overlooked by her. The reason I am posting this review is because as a consumer, I look for professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity when looking to work with a business. Unfortunately I felt that Lauren wasn't able to demonstrate these qualities in my interactions with her. I'm sure her photos are beautiful, and that once you do book with her you will be happy with her work, but unfortunately we were disappointed by our personal interactions with her. In addition, as a newly engaged bride, I felt like Lauren's giveaway gave me false hope that she was giving away a free session when in fact she did not follow through. I am lucky that I was able to afford paying for an engagement session, but not every bride is this lucky. I can't imagine being a bride who had a low wedding budget, entered this contest in hopes of winning, and then basically being ghosted and let down by the photographer for over two months. Like I said earlier, we ended up hiring a different photographer so it no longer mattered if we won this giveaway. That being said, I'm sure other brides / couples who entered the giveaway would be so happy if they were picked. I really hope that businesses who decide to host these types of giveaways can follow through on their offer, otherwise it really reflects poorly on their regular business. P.S. We thought about how maybe she did pick a winner and just didn't announce it publicly, but if that was the case then it wouldn't be a big deal to respond to inquiring people that she picked a winner privately, instead of ignoring those who asked about it.

Lauren is amazing. My husband and I had never been photographed before (and we both were beyond nervous and anxious about it) we met with Lauren before our wedding day to take some photos and get comfortable and Lauren was so so kind and sweet.... She made us both feel so comfortable and we had so much fun. By the time our wedding day came around I was really excited, and not so nervous about the photograph part anymore. Our engagement and wedding photos are so so beautiful and I couldn't be happier. Lauren is kind, understanding and patient. She will be our photographer for life.

Look no further. We had an incredible experience working with Lauren on our proposal shoot. I sent Lauren a message with a half-baked idea for a surprise proposal photoshoot and she helped me bring it to life. I had a vague idea of where I wanted it to take place, but I was too far away to scout the location for myself. Lauren went above and beyond and drove to the location to help me plan the logistics of the proposal (including a few hilarious stick-figure drawings of where I should be). I considered myself lucky to find Lauren on facebook during her visit in vancouver. I wasn’t really planning to get my maternity photos done but I think it was really meant to happen. I was scrolling on vancouver facebook group and I saw Lauren’s post about doing mini engagement sessions, for a really good rate. I took my chance to ask if she would do maternity pictures for me instead. Thankfully, she said yes. We did our shoot a week before my due date. It was so foggy that morning but I trusted lauren’s capable hands and I was right! Her work is amazing! What a steal! All the pictures were captured beautifully!! We are so impressed. It is also true when she said she has a tendency to overdeliver. It was a mini session but she sent us almost 200 edited pictures. Can you believe that?!
