We were so happy with the photos, and it was great to have them as gifts to in time for Christmas! The experience itself was so much fun. We’ll definitely be hiring Haskell Photography in the future. We used Haskell photography for our wedding in December of 2012. It is now June of 2015 and I am just getting the photos. I have sent many emails including my home address so that they could mail and disk with the full resolution pictures as promised. I was also promised 20 photos at "magazine quality" and there is not one that I would print and hand out to my family. Such a bad experience. I'm hoping that by writing some negative reviews I will at least get what I was promised (albeit 2 + years after the fact). I am willing to edit my review if at least this much happens.

My sisters and I went to Haskell Photography to get photos for my mother for Christmas, and they came out wonderful! They looked gorgeous and my mom loved them, and they came before Christmas with plenty of time to wrap. Thank you so much!!!

We recently had David and his assistant as our wedding photographers for our September wedding in Niagara on the Lake. This team was referred by our venue and we are so glad we went with them. We initially took engagement photos the fall prior with our dog and they turned out so great. On the day off, David and Guen easily accomodated coming an hour earlier when I decided I wanted an extra hour of photos and were so fun and easy to work with and also professional. During the wedding it is key to have easy going vendors who make you feel relaxed and beautiful and they did exactly that. They listened to everything we wanted prior to the wedding and delivered it. They also work quick on day off and we got in all our poses and pictures and actually were able to enjoy the last bit of cocktail hour! We just received our raw images and already we are so obsessed with the pictures they turned out awesome. I highly recommend using this company they are fun, professional and very fairly priced.

We hired Haskell Photography for our wedding in September. The pictures came out ok. A handful of pictures were really good, but the vast majority of pictures were just duplicates. We received 6 edited photos texted to us by the end of our wedding night and we were told that it should take a few weeks for the rest. In October we were able to view our wedding pictures online. Our contract stated that there would be 10 professionally touched photos of our choosing. We selected the 10 photos in their online photo gallery and sent an email to Haskell as requested. We did not hear back from them so we tried to contact them for over 2 months via email, phone, and social media. My wife also left a number of voicemails which have gone completely ignored. They finally responded (in December) through their social media IG account to say that they would have the photos edited by the end of the week, but that was over 2 weeks ago and we still have not receieved the 10 edited photos. We were willing to give them a pass for the long wait as it is 2020 and it's been tough for everyone, but after reading some of the previous reviews about tardiness with regards to the pictures and lack of communication, it seems this is just how they conduct business. If it's going to take some extra time to produce the pictures, a simple response would have sufficed. We do not appreciate being ignored. It's uncalled for and very unprofessional. All in all, this was not a pleasant experience and we would not recommend their services to anyone.

We booked a 1 hour photo family session for ours sons first birthday with a wag jag deal. The package included 1 8x10 and 5 low res images on a disk. We paid $100 extra to get high res images. We booked the shoot several weeks in advanced so we could have the images for his party. The day that the session was booked we arrived at the location all dressed up props in hand. The photographer did not show up or call. I called them and left 2 voice mails. They called back a few days later complaining that they had 3 other family's cancel the same day due to the weather. There was no rain that day and it was sun and clouds. So we re-booked the session for the weekend after. He set us up in literally 3 poses and was ready to leave in about 20 min. I had to prompt him to do more poses and some individual shots of our son (which was discussed when booking the session). He was itching to get out of there within 30 min. We went to review the photos a week or so later. I found the photographer very rude in implying that he would edit out some of the flaws he identified with my body. I am pregnant and he wanted to edit out my bump! We told him to leave it. When we got the final proofs of our images the images were so over saturated it looked like we were in a fairy tale. We called right away to booked an appointment to get the images fixed. When we showed up they deleted the original images and updated the images from our disk. The guy making the changes was incredibly rude. Overall this was an awful experience and i would not recommended anyone trusting their special memories to Haskell Photography

David and his assistant were absolutely fantastic. For $1180 + tax they took our engagement photos and were with us for over 8 hours on our wedding day (from the ready rooms through to the cake cutting and beyond). While they were certainly a great deal, they were also truly amazing. The photographs are some of the best I have ever seen (all bias aside): David is a professional in every sense. He knows his business and will get amazing shots. The added bonus is how well he handles people. In the stress and commotion of the wedding he is calm and professional and makes sure that you have fun when taking the photos! It was not just a chore to get through, but a fun part of our day. I cannot recommend Haskell Photography highly enough. Book them early because they are worth it.

David and Guen did our engagement photos and Bill from the Haskell team did our wedding photos. The photos overall are nice. However, I was hounded back in August 2018 for the deposit for our August 2019 wedding. I received multiple phone calls. If my memory serves me correct, 2 phone calls/day for almost 2 weeks. Once the deposit was paid, I didn’t hear a thing from them. I actually found it a challenge to receive a reply. The wedding day came and went. I got 3 edited photos texted to me immediately however I had to message several times requesting for the rest of our wedding photos. Finally, well over a month later almost two months, we received the rest of the photos which were merely the unedited camera roll. The pictures are pretty. They are nice people to work with but the aggressive attitude for the deposit left me with a sour taste. We still booked them anyways and the tardiness in delivering our email of the camera roll...not sure I would use them again or recommend them to a friend. Michelle Counsell

We just had our session yesterday and what a pleasure it was. We felt like we were just hanging out and never felt like we were “ posing”. The teaser pic we saw was amazing, we can’t wait fo the rest. I’m pretty sure we’ve found our photographer for years to come.

We booked my daughters birthday party with Haskell Photography and we were soo happy with everything. The whole party ran very smooth and they were so attentive during the whole party. The photos turned out amazing and all the parents were very happy with them. All the kids had soo much fun. It is a totally memorable experience and I highly recommend David and his team. They were all so helpful, they got all the girls into the whole experience as some girls were a little shy at first. Overall a great idea for a party and soo worth the money and experience, they captured memories to last a life time. I would book it again in a heartbeat :) Thanks again David and team..

David, Guen, and the additional staff at Haskell Photography are an incredible group! They are friendly, helpful, and downright fun to work with. We have done both engagement and wedding photos with them, and the shots were fantastic! My husband and I are not very photogenic people, and somehow they managed to get countless shots that had us looking like models. Beyond photo quality, Haskell Photography also worked a COVID miracle for us. With so many guests unable to attend our wedding this fall, we elected to go for their pandemic package, which included a zoom call for up to 500 guests! From start to finish, our wedding was live streamed AND recorded for all of our guests. And the best part is we didn't have to manage a thing! They truly helped to make our day possible. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I was given a groupon gift for a boudoir sitting with David Haskell. While booking the appointment, David and his team were so friendly and helpful in getting me prepared. When I arrived to the studio he and Guen and their assistant made me VERY comfortable even though I was somewhat nervous. We went through the proofs together a few days later as promised and they turned out fantastic. David's professionalism and expertiece certainly showed in the finished product. Hello I recently had photos completed through Hakell Photography, and was very impressed by the quality of work I received as well as the teams professionalism. I was on a tight timeline due to my photos needed for publication, and the turn around time was excellent. Being in the theatre business for many years, as well as being a professional voice over artists, I get to meet many photographers, and David Haskell and his team were top shelf. He has been the leader in photography in the Niagara Region for many years. Reading these other post does not seem to fit his quality of many years in the industry as well as the experience I have received. I chose David Haskell for my work needed because he is known as one of the best. We all view different experiences in our own ways based on past experiences and comfort levels, yet I certainly cannot agree with the other posts and will refer Haskell Photography to my co workers and customers every time. I guess you cannot please all of the people all of time....yet my experience was excellent from A-Z.

David and Guen were fantastic!!! We could not be more thrilled with our choice in using them for our Wedding. From our initial meeting with them to the following days of our wedding they have been responsive, accommodating and professional. They listened to everything we asked of them for and gave us so much more then we could have dreamed of. We had our wedding at the Hare Wine Co and reception at the Stone Mill Inn on the August long weekend. David and Guen were familiar with the locations, they knew the best spots to take photos and created a fun and easy going atmosphere. We used Haskell photography for our wedding and although we have some nice photos, I was disappointed overall. I would recommend looking into multiple options and meeting face-to-face and reviewing each aspect of the contract before making a decision. Ask lots of questions – don’t make any assumptions so that your expectations are managed/met. A wedding photographer is a large purchase and you only get one chance to get those memories captured.

Nice people to work with but very hard to contact .We have made several attempts to get our photos we wish to purchase with no success. It seems they take your money, rush through the photo session and then dissappear. Would not recommend them.
