The owner is very knowledgeable about the products he sells, and extremely helpful. Brought my daughter in looking for a good starter DSLR, he knew the details of the camera we were looking and ordered one in for us. It came in 3 days early, and my daughter has been clicking away happily ever since. We're going to go broke trying to keep her in SD cards, though... :-)

I drove by this place on coincidence and decided to stop by. I wasn't able to get the name of the person I was speaking with, but I can honestly say the service was great. I was simply there to see if they sold any film and inquired about some services. I truly appreciated how the employee was more interested in teaching and educating me about my different options rather than just trying to sell me a product. Will 100% be returning soon

A great local photography store with new and used equipment or rentals. It may be a little hole in the wall, but that's part of it's charm. Prices are usually market or better, so it's always great to support a local vendor. You also get great advice and tips if you know what to ask.

Recently, I needed an emergency sensor cleaning for a shoot on the weekend. I arrived Friday afternoon and Tim said it's a one day turn around except weekends, which it was. Without whining and complaining I explained that I would return on Monday to have the sensor cleaned as I still needed it for Sunday. Tim graciously offered to have it done before the end of the day on Friday. He didn't have to and I appreciate his care for customers. I will keep coming back, as service like the kind provided seems to be disappearing. Thanks Tim!

He took time from a busy Christmas season to provide tips, create special photo prints, make colour adjustments, and generally be helpful as he possibly could -- while charging nothing more than the cost of the prints themselves. If you are looking something used and "unusual" he might have it. Other than that, I found he basically has high prices for used equipment.

I have lived in St Catharines for a few years now...wish I had known about this great place a lot sooner! I needed a couple of mugs made in a hurry. Called several places that would only do bulk orders or make you wait a few days. Frederick's Foto was able to give me same day service at a reasonable price. Great service with a smile! So glad to have found a great little shop where I can purchase unique gifts for my friends and family. If you are looking for a unique gift for those who are hard to buy for...I recommend you visit this store!
