The entire Captivate team was professional and respectful of COVID-19 guidelines and worked with us throughout the never ending process of rescheduling and shuffling the day around to fit Goverment restrictions. A lot of other vendors' response to COVID was to cover themselves and their business at our expense, but Captivate treated us with respect, fairness and understanding. Captivate honoured our original contract through multiple reschedulings, delays, and venue changes, and was willing to work with us no matter what to ensure that both parties were satisfied and safe through these uncertain COVID times. Even when we potentially had to cancel, where other vendors just took a deposit and left us with a bill, Captivate worked with us at no extra cost to ensure we recieved the services we originally agreed upon, regardless of timeline and original dates.

If you have the opportunity to book Captivate for any event, especially your wedding, we highly recommend taking advantage of that! Make sure you book them ASAP so you get your date as we could not imagine having gone with anyone else. The greatest responsibility falls to the people you decide to capture your wedding as it is the only thing (besides your dress) that you will have left when all is said and done. Don't leave your years of planning to chance and listen to all the amazing reviews these guys have already gotten. We decided to go with the photo and video and their work in both areas blew us out of the water. My husband and I are both some of the most awkward people on camera but Adrian made us feel comfortable the minute we met him. His skill exceeds expectations and even though we felt awkward, you are unable to see that in any of his photos. He took the time to get to know us and utilized that to make us stay in the moment while he was taking photos, yelling out little jokes to make us genuinely laugh the minute he was taking a photo. On our wedding day, he worked with both my husband and I to ensure we didn't see each other before the wedding (as per our wishes) going so far to text my husband whenever we were going outside the building to make sure there were no accidental run ins. The level of professionalism Adrian and his team showed was absolutely astounding, I did not have to think twice about whether I needed to worry about a picture I wanted that they may miss as they caught everything, including pictures I didn't even know I would want! They were a great addition to our wedding not only doing their job but going above and beyond to interact with our guests to ensure they felt comfortable with the camera as well. We were very impressed with how they captured all of our friends and family at some point in the evening all the while filming to create the beautiful video they made for us. While the pictures themselves were absolutely pristine (there was not one picture we did not like) we were absolutely blown away by the wedding video. We were weary about getting the video as we have seen some where all the company does is recap your ceremony, but Captivate managed to capture our entire wedding day into a 7 minute video. The care and creativity they put into the video is very apparent and everyone who has seen it has said how well done it is. The editing is seamless and the video quality beyond what we expected. Some of the shots they got were so outside the box in such an amazing way that the first time we watched it we actually looked at each other and said "woah" then we had to watch it about 6 more times that night as it was just unbelievable. We feel we really lucked out by choosing captivate. There are so many options for photo and video out there, it is hard to know you chose the right one. Rest assured, if you choose Captivate you will be getting the highest level of quality and the greatest team of people to freeze your perfect day with such care, you would think they were shooting their own wedding. This is the work you deserve after putting in so much planning into your day, don't pass them up, you will be sorry if you do.

Met Adam from Captivate at a wedding show and had immediate chemistry with him and his crew. Adam was extremely easy going, willing to accommodate our requests and made us feel confident and relaxed that we chose the right photography company for our daughter's wedding. Engagement photos were beautiful (starting at 5:30am to catch the sunrise) The videographer and photographer worked with the kids and their horses to ensure they captured all the footage required for their final products. The engagement trailers were a fabulous prelude to Jessica and Jesse's big day. The actual wedding day also went off without a hitch. We made a few special requests and captivate was more than ready to do whatever was needed to ensure we were happy. Our pictures were exactly what we had hoped for. The Captivate crew was excellent. Everyone was ready to accommodate our every whim; they were funny - definitely had a great sense of humour and made it so we didn't want our working relationship with them to end! We received our kid's wedding video and it was a little "off track" from what we expected. It was a gorgeous high class video, however, it didn't quite depict our simple, country girl, or capture some of the energetic speech moments that was had at the wedding. We addressed this with Adam; he was not at all upset and didn't get at all defensive, he made us feel extremely comfortable and asked us for all our critique. We were immediately assured that he had everything he needed to make revisions and without a moment to spare, we had a revised video within 2 days that was perfect and exactly what we had hoped for. Things don't always get done exactly the way we want them to, but it is in the process of getting to where you want things to be that tells the tale of a person and a company. I am confident that Adam and his crew is by far the best group for any photography job. They truly do "Captivate" those special moments. We loved having Captivate photographer Michael at the wedding - Captivate photographed my sister's wedding in 2015 with a team of two, and when we got engaged we knew we wanted to hire the same two guys, Adam and Adrian. We were a little disappointed at first to hear that both were booked for other events, but Adam assured us he had a guy that would match well with us. It felt like Adam took time to get a feel for the type of people we were, both in terms of how our day would flow and what kind of freedom we needed to have during it, and found the right photographer that matched. Having the option of meeting him first for an engagement shoot was the best thing for us, as people who hate having their pictures taken. When I met Adrian at my first bridal show, he was the very first booth I stopped at, and I basically tried to hire him on the spot! We hired Captivate for our wedding back in Aug 2012. It was our 8 year anniversary this past Aug 25 and we decided to watch our video again. Leading up to our wedding the photography was something I was secretly dreading.
