I went in to new West photo lab with my usb stick, a little apprehensive due to a bad printing job from a bigger store. I walked in and right away, Al was welcoming and full of knowledge about printing and photographs. He was able to crop my pictures to the needed size and print one right away to see if it was what I was looking for. He is a pleasure to talk to, he treats his customers with respect, listens to their request and fills their order. I will definitely be going back to him and recommending him to others I know.

Came here to get a photo done. The gentleman/owner was really nice and appreciative for my business. Id recommend this place to get your passport/citizenship/pr card photo done.. or anything has to do with photo really. Support your small local business! Update(-3 stars) : my photo was rejected.. this is why it is important to read any documents that clients bring. Let's not assume "we have done this for a while, i know i know" and not read the documents/rules/requirements. Even if you were off by 1mm. Rule is rule. I can go on about my return trip but i do not want to go there. So lets leave it at that. BUT.. regardless.. we all should try to support local businesses!

Al was quick and explained how to use the ordering tool on his website. The colour and quality of the photos are unbelievable. If you are looking for special care for your ID photos, this is the place you want to go. My husband and I tried many different places for taking ID photos with no luck, until we came across New West Photo Lab. They take nice picture with soft light. For our second visit to take another set of ID photos, the photographer also offered us a couple photo for free, which was really nice. I will definitely go back to this place next time I need ID photos.

Had to get European-sized passport photos done - the owner was quick and professional, and I was in and out in 10 minutes. They also backlight your photos, unlike the other bigger shops, so your head gets the proper exposure for your documents. A true local shop. I'll definitely go back to get any photos printed.

I wanted to print some photos from a wedding I photographed as a gift to my clients and London Drugs did a really disappointing job. There was a magenta colour cast to my photos and they were underexposed. They looked nothing like they did on my calibrated screen. I was in a hurry and called New West Photo to see if they could do a bit of a rush job for me, and they were so understanding and friendly with their communication. They printed my 4x6 photos quicker than expected and the colour output was fantastic! I would highly recommend this small business to anyone for their quality prints and super friendly and caring service!

Excellent service from the owner and got our passport photographs in no time according to the Canadian citizenship specification. He did take pictures till we approved it. We even got a complementary family picture. Superior quality of photographs and good clarity. Will checkout his online service to create album and update the review. Convenient location close to bus stop. It’s a small place so be prepared to wait outside if there is someone in. They are open on Sunday so that’s awesome.

They will send u email to notify you when the photos ready to pick. You can adjust the photos online. And the most important thing is the quality of the product is SUPER NICE ". These are the graduation photos to the teachers and they are so impressed by their quality. Will definitely come back.

We just went in to get passport photos of our two month old after a quick Google search and the wonderful person there couldn’t have been more patient and kind. Even though our baby wasn’t exactly cooperating (what a surprise!), he waited to capture the correct angle and get the best possible shot. He printed off two versions for us, and a larger version of the cuter photo for us to keep as a memory. Really happy we found this place and will be coming back for our own passport photos and any other photo printing needs in the future.

Went to get our 2 week old's passport picture done here on recommendation from a friend. Glad we went here! He was very professional, patient & quick! He also gave us suggestions on how to get our newborn to get his eyes to open. He definitely knows what he was doing. Just make sure your newborn isn't wearing white & you'll have to hold up your newborn in a sitting position on a stool while supporting their head.
