Won free photo session, booked appt, have a 6 year old and 2 year old, took walk ins for passport photos before us and ended up in session 30 mins after our apt time. So in other words, had terrible photos trying to occupy the kids for that long, by the time we got in, my 2 year old had had enough and we ended up with awful photos. Charged for "edits" which included making a photo black and white and adding words. Something I could do in paint. I have another session I won't be going to. Not even worth it.

I think half of the people who are leaving negative reviews for this location are confusing the photo lab (that is located at the back of the store that produces photographic prints and other photographic products) and the portrait center (which was located at the front of the store near the hairdressers but they're not even there anymore). To review the actual photo center which makes photographic prints and other photographic products is the purpose of reviewing today. I've been using the Walmart photo center for over a decade. Partly because of its convenience and partly because there are almost no other options for photographic processing in town. Usually I get prints done here, occasionally I get other products made such as collages or cards. I've also had photographic mugs printed here, business cards, and calendars. I've been very satisfied with the quality of the product and the speed of which it was received. During the year of 2020 and 2021 when I was less likely to go inside of a retail location, I made more use of their online ordering system in which you are able to do the work from home submit the order and it is available either for pickup in the store or it is delivered to your home. I found this to be a very good alternative to going into the store. Their hours of changed in their physical retail location, they're not open as early as they used to be, I used to very much enjoy getting my photographs printed shortly after the store opened at 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning and I can't do that anymore. I don't visit the store after 10:00 a.m. typically so it is less convenient for me, but I can understand why they do this because they have combined the photographic center in with the electronics department. I found that their staff is usually quite knowledgeable about the products and services as well as helpful when it comes to things like how do I connect my smartphone and find my photos? Or other such questions. I have no complaints about getting my photos done here, I just don't like when the Kodak photo booth machines have upgrades and certain templates that you've been using for years suddenly are not available anymore. And yet sometimes you can travel to a different location such as Saint Catharine's or Welland you can find that their machines do not have the changes made. I don't love having to drive two or three or four cities away because my Walmart's photo choices have changed or are limited but what are you going to do?

I went in to get passport photos taken; they were taken on a basic digital camera without regard to shadow, or angle of camera, and so I was left with an upward-facing photo with a shadow under my chin, which is generally unacceptable for passport quality photos. As well, the computer that is used to process the photos crashed and I had to wait almost an hour for the finished product. Although the staff were friendly and apologetic for the wait, they were unable to provide an adequate product and I will definitely not use Walmart photo centre again.

This is situated on the second level of Walmart inside Royal City center. It is in the back inside the electronic section. There are two kiosks for self-service for all your photo printing needs. You can use the kiosk to get instant photo prints. Next to the kiosk is the counter where you can get all the other different types and sizes of prints be it personal or business which usually take more than a day to print you can order online and you see an email updating you about the status. You can either pick up from here or it can be delivered to your house. If you use the kiosk it is a much more personal service as only you can see the photos that you print. If you order online and pick the photos from the counter the staff are able to view the photos as they are not in and sealed envelope.

Would highly recommend staying away as they have have leaky freezers that have black mold growing under them I always feel so Lightheaded in the store because of the poor air quality

Well I went there alot wene I was little and I have a stuffy from wene I was 2 years old and my head was herding and I was crying becouse I was in the shopping cart and my head has laying on the edge so it hert alot and I was screaming and all so my mom went to the stuffy iyl and there was only 1 more stuffy left and it was a yellow head crab and she put it on my head and I slepped like a baby and I still have the stuffy today aswell. And overall wene I need things I go to Walmart and get all the things I need there and Evan tho they don't have the best quality nothing has ever went bad wene I needed to get something for me or my brother or my friends or enyone it's overall great! And I know what other people are thinking while reading this but Idc/I don't care it's my opinion ????????

I was send an email from Walmart offering a free 11x14 poster that was to be picked up the next day. I ordered it on December 19th as it was Christmas present for someone in my family. Walmart ran out of photo paper for it and I still haven't received it and it's January 4th. A few days before that I was in Walmart photo center trying to print off pictures for my family for Christmas. The pictures all look great on Kodak kiosk. When I was finished it printed me out a blank receipt and chopped the heads off everybody in the pictures. The inconsiderate lady working in the photo centre was extremely rude beyond belief. I said I'm not paying for these pictures, which were pictures of my very recently boyfriend of 18 years that had just passed away. She insisted that I was paying for the pictures, even though they were ruined and they were just going to throw them in the garbage. There was a bit of a scene and I ended up paying for the pictures. She even overcharged me by $11. When I was walking away, she raised her voice and sarcastically said "have a good day." I will never get anything from the Walmart photo center ever again. Maybe if she was a decent human being, she would have just let me have the pictures. Anyone else with half a heart would have just given them to me. Would not recommend the New Glasgow Walmart to anyone. Can't add photos because I salvaged what I could from the cut off head ones and still didn't receive my poster.

They lost my order of pictures that I had planned as Christmas gifts. They reordered with zero guarantee that I would have them by Christmas. When I asked for a supervisor, they said they don't have one and only offer call-backs. You get what you pay for and their photo prints are fair for the price. I have ordered a couple of times with no issue, not very happy this time. Off I go to call customer service again.

I preferred Walmart for passport photos of my family due to professional service and cost effectiveness. Unfortunately both things proved wrong in this case after getting service from this photo studio. First thing, she opened the studio late by 5 minutes and her hands were busy with McDonald's breakfast bags. She was absolutely not happy at all to see customers before her. Her colleague took wrong pictures and when we went back she was not happy at all. Actually re-take of the pictures were the problem for her. She was suggesting us that we should have waited for the pics to be rejected by CIC and then come to them. But when I know the pics are not according to the given specifications why take chance. She admitted that her colleague did lots of mistakes while taking the pictures originally that is why eventually she agreed to re-take the pics. Her attitude while taking pictures was totally unprofessional. She never told any of us that your face look grim, your head is tilted or leaning, take your hair off your face, etc. etc. It is the duty of the photographer to tell people all of these things and give suggestions how to improve facial value of the photo. The photos still were dark, no proper lighting in front of face. When I came back I tried to check pricing and came to know that she charged us more than the market price. So to sum up the experience at this studio, I will not recommend to anyone. Do your homework before you select someone. She treated another customer (senior couple) the same she did to us after finishing our photos. She is awful to her customers and ignorant of photography ethics.

The Service here is great. Avoid taking photos for Citizenship or PR application as they use a regular camera and the outcome is nowhere near a DSLR or even a good phone camera.

Don't go over there. They are so rude. My son he is one year old . for take his passport photo we went there. More than half and hour to close the shop.Their full focus was close and need to go home. They look like unprofessional. One of my bad experience. Never ever go back there. Horrible staffs i ever found. We took our son's passport photo in another studio in toronto. It came out well. Their service is excellent.

I have ordered multiple times pictures and products from here they never can find my order they seem clueless when they can't find my order they asked me my name multiple times and still can't find it this is at least been at least 10 times and then I get home and call them and I am refused to speak to a manager until I talk to the photo lab first after I just stood there with 4 people looking for my order for 1/2 hour I don't want to talk to them again

The studio was so dirty! After 25 min the girl could not change the background still. We could not use the black or white background because they were filthy! Left with no pictures. It's been over a week and I still haven't heard from the manager to get my money back!!

Love Walmarts online photo center. I am a hobby photographer and their online service makes things so simple. I simply place my order online and stop by and pick it up. They do a great job of processing the photos..colours are always great. Two thumbs way up!

The photo centre is unable to keep its promises for time sensitive delivery. It may be related to the ongoing covid situation, not sure. I'm still waiting. So far, it's been over a week for next day product delivery.

When you go ask for Robert. My brother and I went for a photo shoot and it was amazing!!!! Robert is very talented and he let us go in right away! Photos turned out great! Along with great photos and great conversation we have memories to share and great photos for our mom. Highly recommended!!!!
