I will be recommending Grant from Artistic impressions to everyone! I needed a passport photo to serve as a photo ID but couldn't get one due to my physical disabilities (I'm unable to leave my home and so could not go anywhere to get my photo taken). I called dozens of commercial photographers but no one would come to my home - except for Grant! He came within a few days of my call, worked quickly and professionally, and was extremely kind. He is the only reason I was able to get my absolutely necessary photo ID.

Every year, Ingrid comes in on a Council meeting day with all her equipment and she's just awesome right from the get go. This past year we had family pictures taken at the studio. As my grandfather`s health was failing we had a very short time to get full family photos taken while my aund was in Winnipeg visiting. Ingrid and Grant were very accommodating and the photos are a lasting memories for my family. The photos were casual and professional as my grandfather could only handle an hour. My mother loves the photos. My father still keeps a set of Easter photos taken of me and my sister when we were 5 and 7 on the corner of his desk that Ingrid took. Artistic Impressions took my grad photos and I can wholehearted say that the pictures and professionalism of this company was by far the worst I have ever experienced in a photography group. I am usually easy to please with photos and the ones received were by far the worst pictures of me I have ever seen which put a sour note on my graduation. If you would like to enjoy a special moment in time I would recommend hiring a different company.

Ingrid was very professional and extremely helpful with suggestions and a follow up email of photo ideas. We were looking to have a photographer set up on site and take photos of our Executive team that were coming in from across Canada. In an era when most photos we see are filtered and edited to the point of not looking anything like the subjects, Grant and Ingrid were able to capture the best possible version of the real me.

Ingrid is a terrible photographer and Grant is a very creepy man. Together they make this a horrible photography studio. I see that they no longer advertise wedding photography - and that's a great thing! Ingrid could not get important shots in focus. She can't take picture on the fly of special moments, the pictures are blurry - which is great on your wedding day because you'll never get that shot again! And if your pictures are blurry she does this magical thing and puts a grain effect on the picture! If you don't like the grain effect then you just end up with blurry pictures. It looks like she takes a lot of pictures of buildings now - I think she should just stick to that. Buildings don't move and she can take hours setting up the shot so maybe it's not blurry... hopefully. Take my advice - DO NOT USE Artistic Impressions Photography! *Update* In response to your comments below, you will not find my name in your records. Frankly it's non of your business what my name is or when our wedding was. I'm writing this review to warn others about your business and your practices, not for you to go back and look at my file. For anyone interested in using a good photographer, don't use Artistic Impressions Photography.

AI Photography is by far one of Winnipeg's top photography service providers. Nearly 16 years ago, my husband and I chose Ingrid to take photos of our first born child moments after she was born. To this day - I cherish the photo and the memories it brings. Since then, AI has beautifully and artfully captured many precious 'moments in time' photos of our family and never with a disappointing result. In spite of their busy schedule, Grant and Ingrid always go the extra mile to accommodate my requests (and, at times, impossible timelines). After the photo shoot, I often find myself staring at the shots taken wondering how I'm going to select just one or two of the pictures. I know I'm not alone. I know dozens of friends, acquaintances, businesses and family who have chosen AI Photography - the repeated business speaks for itself, never mind their multiple awards. Being both a business owner and an artist is not an easy job. I admire and respect Grant and Ingrid for the work they do so well and simply being the kind of people you look forward to being around.
