I didn't think that a virtual photo shoot would be possible or turn out well, but it did. Megan was professional, patient, and encouraging. The photos turned out great. That photo shoot was what I needed to boost my mood during the pandemic's sheltering in place. I felt glamorous and like a 40s pin up. I'm going to carry that feeling around in my heart always. Once my children are older, I will print out some of the photos to hang on my bedroom wall.

I've never felt brave enough to do a boudoir shoot. I was always on the sidelines cheering on my friends as they did theirs and always loving the results. So I acted on my impulses one day after finding Meagan and ME Photo, and I booked. And it was the greatest decision I've made for myself. I don't know when in my life my brain decided to base a significant portion of my worth on what my body looks like. Maybe it's from all the times I would be called fat, or be told to lose weight. Maybe it's from the lack of representation of ALL bodies growing up (and now, who am I kidding) but this has been a mindset that is incredibly hard to move away from. I will always advocate for self love, kindness and body positivity even when I don't feel it about myself. Meagan made this experience an absolute dream for me. She captured moments, shapes, happiness, and nose-scrunchy laughs. Things I didn't really see about myself before. Our bodies are so incredibly beautiful, and we are all wonders of this universe. We deserve our own love above all else. We DESERVE TO BE SEEN. If you've been hesitating, this is your sign to DO IT. You won't regret feeling this in love with yourself.

When quarantine lockdown hit, I was so overwhelmed with the fear and stress and isolation, and felt increasingly disconnected from myself...then Megs created these opportunities to feel interesting and grounded again with her virtual shoots, and I went for it. I loved the experience and really used it as an opportunity to have fun and see myself with a fresh perspective. She is so professional, respectful and creative, and the pictures end up being simultaneously moody and lighthearted. It was such an enjoyable and incredibly accessible experience. On the practical aspects, she is great - the scheduling and coordination was quick and easy, edited digital files delivered back promptly.
