We were so thrilled to have Christina document a little slice of our family over the holidays! Not only are her photos incredibly stunning, but the session itself was so chill and laid back. My children can be very camera shy and like most, despise posing. There was none of that with Christina! She is able to capture the most beautiful moments without seeming to even be there. The resulting pictures are beautifully candid, truly capturing the personalities of each of our children (Ages, 8,7,4,18 months). If you are looking to get family pictures or pictures for any other occasion book Mimsical Photography. You won't be disappointed!

If you are looking for a photographer for any occasion, from day to day around the house, to a family BBQ, or even a big party, Christina is the one to get! We’ve had the privilege of working with Christina 5 times now, and every time it has been a dream. Our first experience was a family afternoon at the beach followed up with dinner at my parents. I initially expected it to feel awkward having someone there photographing everything, but Christina blended in so well that she just became part of the family and we forgot all together that she was there photographing everything. Everything was so relaxed and laid back. When we received the picture gallery, I was shocked at how many pictures we had as I didn’t remember at all her taking so many! She was so discrete in her photography that the memories we got are so genuine. I was dealing with some PPD at the time and I can see this reflected in the photos, which bring out so much emotion looking back at them. The pure love and joy for my daughter that she captured in my parents is amazing to look at as well. At the end, she took a couple posed pictures, and by then we were so comfortable having her and her camera around that it was SO easy. No pressure to look or pose or turn a certain way, just some fun, smiling pictures looking at the camera. Our second experience with Christina was at our daughter’s first birthday party. She came early to get some set up pictures, and once people started arriving I forgot she was even there taking pictures. It was so comfortable having her there as there was no pressure to look a certain way, or pose a certain way. Everything was so relaxed and fun. She far surpassed my expectations with how quickly we received our pictures, especially with having 3 little ones at home! And the pictures she took - speechless. My husband repeatedly asked me if I had thanked her enough, and told her how incredible the photos are. The moments she captured are absolutely priceless, but I think one of the best things, again, is looking at the photos and not even knowing that they had been taken. There was never a camera in our face, never any pressure, and the moments captured of pure joy and love, the fun and the happiness, these are memories I will cherish forever. She captured my daughter’s spirit so incredibly, her essence and personality shines through in all of the pictures. She didn’t only take the smiling happy pictures, though there are lots of those, but she took the pictures where my daughter is a little confused, a little overwhelmed, a little curious. She captured her as the little person she is, and to me that is beyond words. I highly recommend Christina for all photography needs. I truly can't say enough good things about her and her work

Back in 2014 she shotour engagement and wedding ,she was able to get my non smiling boyfriend at the time to not only smile but to laugh. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in my boudoir session. She was so professional in a situation that could have been very uncomfortable. She then shot our maternity photos a couple years later. She was able to capture the joy we felt. Christina is an exceptional photographer. She captures the most authentic moments and takes phenomenal pictures, but it is everything else she brings to the table that makes her even more outstanding. Christina is your shadow, following you wherever you go so that you don’t even notice you’re getting your picture taken. She is a body guard, a psychiatrist, a mom, a time keeper, and most importantly a friend. Christina jumped head first into our photos and exceeded our expectations. As someone who usually can’t stand getting their picture taken, I can truthfully say that there were many squeals of delight with both the engagement and wedding photos. By the time the wedding day came around, Christina had 100% of our trust. She climbed through waterfalls, into bushes, and onto fireplaces to get the pictures she felt we needed. All without us even noticing. We got constant comments from our guests at how amazing, funny, agile, and talented our photographer was. Christina was our calm during the storm and we are forever grateful for what she did to make our day magical.

I am the person in the friend group who takes all the pictures. I am responsible for 90% of the photos my friends are tagged in on Facebook, I am a diligent Instagrammer. I am OBSESSED with taking pictures. But I was determined not to spend our wedding behind a camera. So I had the highest, hugest expectations of the photographer for our wedding. Christina exceeded all of them. I was first attracted to Christina's portfolio because she had photos of people of all shapes and sizes on her website. She didn't pick out the photos with the HBO-ready size 6 models (more power to you if you're one of those, I am not) and I knew she could shoot all my friends and family in their best light. She proved it when she showed up for our engagement shoot. We'd had one previously with a different photographer, and it was such a disaster we were not looking forward to going through another. On top of it, we both showed up for the shoot feeling grubby and embarrassed of our bodies - it was a bad self-esteem day. We predicted disaster. Christina showed up a bubbly ball of energy and immediately put us at ease. She could tell that we weren't used to posing for cameras and when we were doing posed shots she would joke and tease us to get us to relax. She was totally flexible with our engagement shoot idea (grocery shopping at Granville Island, then making dinner at home) and took amazing candids, too. Then at our wedding, she yet again hit it out of the park. We had a private ceremony on one day, followed by a reception the next evening. All the photos from both events are incredible! I'm obsessive, so I'll always wish there were more, but my only complaint is that there wasn't more gorgeousness to look at, so that seems pretty damn good. Also, she sent us the photos in a lovely hand-crafted box and included some prints as part of the service - amazing! I could not be happier with her service, her prices are totally fair, and the photographs are gorgeous. If you're considering her, HIRE HER. You will feel no regrets.

Christina is an incredibly gifted photographer, who just happens to be the NICEST person ever! We had a documentary family session with her, and the second we got to our destination, she got to work just getting to know the kids and following them around wherever they roamed. She really took the time to get to know them; to know what makes them smile and laugh. To them, she was just a new friend who happened to have a camera :) Christina is also super easy to work with; both in setting up the shoot, the day of, and when she delivered the images. I was so shocked when the gallery was emailed over the very same week! #superstar We will treasure these memories and are so thankful for these real life captures. I booked Christina for our engagement and wedding photos and she was amazing! I came across her page on Facebook and when I saw her photos, I contacted her immediately. Christina is such a gifted photographer and her documentary style was just what I was looking for. We met at a park for our engagement shoot. This was way out of our element, but Christina made us feel so comfortable. Some of our best photos were when we didn’t even know she was taking them! It was so natural, she managed to get all our special moments and then some! At the ceremony and during the family shoot, she didn’t leave one photo behind as she is very organized with how she captured everyone! She was so fun at the reception and was getting all the shots. I was thrilled to receive our wedding photos, they where all stunning! When she gave us the photos the presentation was breath taking, I will never forget when we opened the package.
