We have worked with Erin twice now, once for a newborn shoot, and again for our daughters first birthday/family photos. We can't say enough great things about Erin. Not only are the photos she takes beautiful, but she made us feel super comfortable in front of camera. It's almost like having a good friend photograph you. She always had us all smiling and laughing, even when it was past our daughters bedtime and she was getting a bit cranky. My apologies for the long post but I simply can't sum up our fantastic experience with Erin in a couple of sentences! We got engaged in December, 2017 and I immediately started looking for a photographer. A friend of mine, who does wedding coordinating, advised me to think of what things were most important to me for the wedding. Photography was number 1 on my list. With the help of my cousin (she has an eye for details) I starting searching online. I would find a photographer and send their website link to my cousin and we would discuss the style and quality of photos. We went through a few because they all were missing the "it" factor. After searching for what seemed like a while, I am over joyed and very thankful that I stumbled upon Erin's website. She had the EXACT style of photo's I had been searching for. (edgy, dark, and the moments she captures tell a story. Nothing looks forced) Erin's photography style and attention to detail is extraordinary and she is also a fun, amazing person to be around! From our first time meeting with her, to our engagement photo session, we knew that she was an experienced, confident photographer and very easy going. She made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves. We just got married October 5, 2018 and obviously have not received our photo's yet (some sneak peeks) but we know with 100% certainty that the photo's we will receive are absolutely going to blow us away!!! UPDATE: We just got our photo's and they are absolutely INCREDIBLE. Honestly do yourself a favour and hire Erin, I'm telling you, you will not regret it! She went above and beyond as to purchase the dress I wore for our engagement photo's, which made me feel so stylish. For our wedding, she brought along a jacket that kept me warm and went perfectly with my dress and a pair of boots for our helicopter mountain pictures!!! Stop whatever you're doing and book Erin Fraser! Whether she knows it or not, she kept me the most sane during my wedding planning process and even on the day-of. We planned our wedding before COVID hit and like many brides, I postponed. Erin was truly amazing to work with, helping me to identify vendors along way, accommodating the date change with so much empathy (!!!); she really was the north star in my planning process as she reminded me to just stick to my own guns of what I want for the day and roll with it. Our wedding date happened to be during BC's unprecedented heat dome and to no surprise, Erin flawlessly mapped out the day so that everyone's wellbeing was a top priority. The photos - not even compromised. They're incredible. Erin is phenomenal. I was nervous at first to contact her as we were planning a small, intimate wedding (in law’s living room!) and didn’t know if she did such events. My mom has Alzheimer’s so the most important thing to me was family photos and she captured some of the most honest, candid photos of the two of us that I will cherish forever. She braved a snow storm while pregnant, was professional, made everyone comfortable and has amazing sense of dry humour which fit in perfectly with our group.
