It was a fun experience but the prices were on the expensive side. Note: This company has a habbit of trying to drum up business by harassing previous clients by calling them and refusing to leave messages so you have to text or call them back to find out who it is. I've had to block them because of this. I did this on a whim because I won something from them. In some ways I'm glad I had this singular experience but in other ways I wish I hadn't. The harrassment has got to stop! This not the right way to gain customers but it's a great way to alienate them.

Il faut vous attendre a déboursé des frais pour des photos , et c'est certain qu'elles veulent vous en vendre ! Mais c'est normal il faut encourager cette belle entreprise qui a a coeur la beauté des femmes et qui offre souvent leurs art a moindre coût .

I was very hesitant about taking a semi nude photo, but I won a gift card at a trade show and I was instantly intrigued. I went on the website and saw the photos and I was really excited about my photo shoot. When I went to the studio they were all very friendly and welcoming, and I was given a walk through of everything that would happen. The shoot itself was very comfortable and I felt the photographer really guided me throughout the whole process. I was very happy with my photos I ended up buying 4 pictures. I recommend everyone do this at least once in their life, and if you do you will see how amazing you will feel after.

It was an awful experience! I will try and make a long story to the point and clear. It took nearly 7 months to get my shots and print! Awful service. 1. The first photographer rushed the experience and looked tired. Not to mention the angles were all wrong (making upper body large and long while making the legs disappear; very weird) 2. The retouches were amateur at best. My cell phone has better reteaching skills. The work was completely lazy and unprofessional. 3. I wrote and wrote for a long time (2 months+) until they got the owner to come and redo the photo shoot. 4. The owner was late for our time and as he explained it was due to having a hard party night. Bed head and sobering up we went on. I am very difficult to upset. Always giving too many chances to situations and people, however with this situation I want the truth to be written so here I am. 5. The shots second time around were nothing special but decent and with their fancy computer systems and the owner him self I thought if not him making them acceptable who else?! The owner encouraged me to leave a good review now that he had shown up him self all late and drunk from a heavy night out.. The nerve, thought to my self. 6. It took another several months afterwards to guide his team of people how to Photoshop, communicate and endless shipping errors on their end until finally .. Not to mention I spent $1500 and never got a dime back for my time and efforts I spent dealing with their unprofessional, amateur, unacceptable photo shoots and services! From the owner himself to most of his staff, UNACCEPTABLE QUALITY AND SERVICES.

Je trouve dommage de baisser la qualité originale d’une photo pour forcer les clients à payer alors que le forfait gagné valait déjà 400$

NOT IMPRESSED! BEWARE WHEN BUYING PHOTOS! I went here because I won a free photoshoot. The staff was phenomenal, the pictures were great and I did like the experience. But I have to give 2 starts because when I went to pay for the photos they applied for some kind of credit or loan from Desjardins to finance the photos without explaining that this was a hard credit check. They didn’t even give me a choice or really explain anything, the girl was like “We’re going to do it this way” and when it was declined she then took my bank info for a payment plan. I would have much rather been given options before she just went ahead and applied for any kind of credit because I know my score was not high enough to finance anything and I am now stuck with a hard credit check inquiry on my file for no reason FOR THE NEXT 3 YEARS! Not great for someone trying to rebuild their credit. I would have been more than happy to just give my bank information for a payment plan from the start, they definitely should have explained better and given me options! Not impressed with how this played out!

I visited the Nuovo studio in Montreal and it was, at first, a not so good experience. This being said, I mentionned all of my comments and experience to the owners of the studios and they heard me and gave me an extraordinary customer service, much better that I would have expected. For that reason, if you like this studio type of pictures, I would recommend this place in a heart beat. But for future references, here's a summary of my experience. I've been given wrong information when I took my appointment over the phone. Note that in Montreal, the studio only offers photoshoot on a white background, no shadowings and no play on lights with the piece of fabric, which was not what I originally sign up for. I've also been told not to wear make-up and in reality it was only me under the spotlight, which would normally require a professional make-up job. The employees on site were nice, though they did not answer my questions properly. The main concern was that the photographer that took care of me was not trained properly or qualified to take flattering sexy pictures of a plus size woman. So if this is your case too, make sure you request a photographer that specialize not only in photographing 100 pounds mannequins. This being said, I'm sure she is a good photographer in life, but just not qualified for taking good pictures of plus size woman in poses that are advantaging and empowering. Also, make sure all your photoshop demands on your chosen pictures are noted properly in the system as only about 50% of what I discussed with the photographer was noted and done on my final pictures. Don't get me wrong, the pictures are not awful... I believe if the work had been done right from the start, and I've been given good information when I took my appointment, it would have been a totally different experience. But the amazing service and feedback I received from them after sharing my experience makes it up for the not so good experience I had during the shooting.

I was really nervous before going to my photo shoot, but the girls at the studio were the sweetest, kindest, most empowering team you could ever hope for. I’m a plus-size girl, and I was worried their photographer wouldn’t be used to flattering my body type, but the pictures at the end of the shoot made me feel STUNNING. I saw the promotion ad on FB for March birthdays that got me intrigued. I Google the studio and liked what I saw but then I had a medical family emergency and lost interest! Eventually a few mths ltr, a rep called me and I was encouraged to do the photo shoot. I signed up for the makeup and hair. When I arrived, everyone was truly professional and accommodating. My hairdresser was Ivanna and she did a fabulous job with my hair and Sofia did a fantastic job with my make-up! I felt like I was a movie star! Then came the shoot! It was intimidating and since this was my first time at a photo shoot, let alone a semi nude one at that, I was stiff with the poses. The photographer walked me through the poses but seeing it was at the end of the evening, Veronica seemed like she just wanted to get over with it. I find that everything went by so quickly. So the shoot was done and I looked at the pics. Yes they were nice but I didn't like the way in which I felt compelled to purchase these pics! They were too expensive and trying to sell me a payment plan for photos that are for my eyes only turned me off! I walked out of there paying $500+ for six photos! I must be crazy! Overall I'd say the experience was different, I loved the hair and makeup part but the I felt awkward in the poses! I requested that a few things be photo shop. I prefer a dark background as it's forgiving for ppl of color and ones like myself that has blemishes and skin pigmentation. I'm waiting to see my pics and see if it's really worth all of that cash! I would've loved to have the stainless steel frame but it was très cher! I wish they would have selected my scarf tho before choosing the shade of make-up! I don't think my make-up matched the shade of scarf and also, I think some customers need that time to get comfortable with the shoot! I would still encourage a few of my friends to do it if they can afford it!

Company should inform clients what the prices are before taking pics not after when you’ve got no idea and I definitely felt rushed. 5 pics cost me $500 with a $450 gift card. Quand c'était fini, on a sélectionné les plus belles photos ensemble. Je lui ai clairement dit que je voulais juste la photo gratuite. Elle a fait la sourde oreille et essayé de me vendre plein de forfait en essayant plusieurs moyens : M'a dit qu'elle pourrait m'offrir 7 photos pour le prix de 5; que je peux payer par virement ou dans 2 mois, etc. Elle insistait a fond. C'était de la grosse vente sous pression. Elle m'a dit que je devais prendre ma décision maintenant car sinon les photos seront supprimés a mon départ. J'ai même hésité un moment a en acheter tellement je sentais de la pression. Quand je lui ai redis finalement que je prenais juste la photo gratuite, je sentais tout d'un coup qu'elle avait hâte que je parte. J'ai reçu la photo assez rapidement. Je suis très content de ne pas avoir payé quand j'ai vu le résultat. Je n'aurai pas payé 150$ pour ca. Je crois bien que la plupart de leurs clients sont ceux ayant reçu une carte cadeau. Ça attire les gens qui normalement aurait pas été se faire prendre en photo. Qui payerait 250$ un shooting photo (photos non inclus) de 15 minutes pour prendre quelques photos dont on ne choisit pas les poses? Aller voir d'autres photographes, leur forfait sont beaucoup moins cher pour un meilleur résultat. La photographe m'a expliqué a la fin qu'elle n'était pas payé au nombre de shooting qu'elle fait, mais aux photos vendues.Bref, elle est payé à commission. Elle n'a donc pas fait une cenne avec moi a ce qu'elle m'a dit. Je me demande en quoi faire des shooting photos à la chaîne comme ça, faire les mêmes poses et faire de la vente sous pression, c'est de l'art, de la créativité? En terminant, Nuovo, pas la peine de m'écrire un message d'excuse. J'ai lu vos nombreux messages de réponses que vous avez copier/coller dans les autres messages de plainte. Et malgré vos excuses, vous n'avez pas du tout changer vos manières de faire. Très dommage.

Par exemple, même en dépit du fait que vous avez demandé d'annuler la transaction le jour même de celle-ci, et que sur le moment de la transaction, aucune photo ne vous a été remise, ils font fi de ladite demande d'annulation, ensuite ils vous envoie un fichier par courriel avec les photos en question, et si vous ouvrez le fichier de photos concerné, ils vous disent que vous ne pouvez pas annuler, car maintenant vous avez reçu lesdites photos, alors que vous aviez mentionné auparavant que vous vouliez annuler la transaction. Vraiment pas professionnels, à la limite d'être malhonnêtes! Et, ils vous diront, bien sûr, qu'ils ne font pas ce genre de pratique, ni de vente à pression, alors qu'en fait, c'est ce qu'ils font. Je ne sais pas s'ils font ça avec tous leurs clients, mais c'est ce qui s'est passé dans notre cas. On s'est retrouvés à devoir payer 450$ + taxes = 517,39$ pour seulement 4 photos numériques, sans inclure la photo gratuite bien sûr (SANS AUCUNE RETOUCHE, même s'ils disent le contraire. De plus, il n'y a aucune impression sur papier photo qui n'est incluse pour ce prix), ce qui, à mon avis, est abusément cher pour ce qu'on a eu en retour. Ils ont essayé de nous donner l'impression que nous en avions eu plus pour notre argent, car ils nous ont envoyé une version "noir et blanc" des 5 photos sélectionnées (incluant la gratuite), pour un total de 10 photos. Ceci étant dit, il n'en demeure pas moins qu'il s'agit de 5 photos réellement, auxquelles n'importe qui pourrait faire une modification de celles-ci avec un logiciel de photos, genre Photoshop ou autres, pour obtenir une version "noir et blanc". Rien d'extraordinaire, en ce qui me concerne. Et, c'est loin de vous apporter 5 nouvelles photos réellement, genre qui comporteraient des poses différentes. Vraiment pas. J'ai tenté de nouveau de faire annuler la transaction en expliquant à la directrice ce qui s'est passé. Le mieux que j'ai pu avoir comme entente avec elle, a été de réduire la facture de moitié, soit à 258,69$ taxes incluses, c'est qui est encore très cher pour 4 photos numériques! Et, ils doivent sûrement se dire que nous ne les poursuivrons pas pour un montant de 517,39$ ou 258,69$, car les frais encourus pour le faire à la Cour des petites créances et le salaire perdu pour une journée passée à cette Cour, de même que les frais afférents (de déplacement, de stationnement, etc.) seront plus élevés que le bénéfice retiré, soit le montant réclamé.
