To say we are thrilled with the photos she produced is an understatement. She captured our brand new baby and us as a brand new family in the most beautiful timeless photos that I love to share. From the moment I met Elena she just had a great energy and she was incredibly easy to talk to. Her art - photos to start were amazing. My five month daughter could not take away her eyes from the camera. Elena’s photos captured family moments with such a nice light and colour. She has the eye to freeze the moments you want to remember. Once I got the photos, they were so beautiful I also decided to order a book of photos with her. The quality of this book was to die for. Thick paper, bright photos.. the type of book you want to show all your loved ones! After the photo session, I told Elena we wanted to capture our life in Kitimat before we moved. She mentioned she was about to start doing a day in a lifetime - in a video format. We jumped into this idea and the result is the best gift I could have given my daughter. We will forever cherish the pictures and videos she took of our family as we prepared for and welcomed our sweet baby boy Finn, our #5, into our hearts. Our children will be able to hold onto these memories of us for as long as they live, and it is just so very special. Our Aria said, "Mommy, we will get to have this video forever!" The video Elena made of us, was the very first video captured of all of us together, ever. I realized in my heart that we had never been all together on film, and just how truly special it is to have this now. We love you Elena! Elena was terrific to work with. I had been seeing her work online for maternity and family portrait sessions. Being new to town, I needed new headshots and she was the only photographer I knew in Kitimat. I asked her if she would be open to extending her expertise to business photography and she said yes :) The shoot was amazing. We spent our time between her studio and outside and I couldn't have asked for a better result. I was very specific of what I was looking for and she rolled with it and gave helpful tips and reminded me of certain things when I was posing for certain shots. We highly recommend Elena for all your photography needs. She went above and beyond to capture both our maternity photos and our baby photos. She was very quick to respond to any questions and gave great tips on how to prepare properly for each shoot. She had a great selection of maternity dresses that she gave me access to if I needed something to wear and I found a stunning lace dress that really looked amazing in pictures. She has a beautiful studio that can be used for the shoots but we chose to do outdoor pictures for the maternity and in home pictures for our baby shoot. She took the time that was needed to do each shoot and was flexible with the time (so we did not feel rushed or stressed) as all she cared about was making sure she got the right shots (our baby was a bit fussy and she was so relaxed and patient and gave great tips to settle him down) Elena has a talent for even capturing the unplanned moments. When our baby was fussing and I was calming him down she got a few shots that turned out being some of my favourite. Her relaxed and very professional behaviour made the photoshoots very enjoyable and stress free. For the showing of our maternity shoot she created a slideshow with music and invited us for a viewing on a large screen. It was very special to see the pictures presented in that way. Her products for purchase are of the highest quality and we were so happy with the photo book and prints we ordered. I have had many other photoshoots in the past but these ones were the best overall experience by far. Our family will be using Elena photography for all our Family photo needs in the future.
