We found her after we booked our wedding venue under the hashtag “#kimberleyweddingphotographer” and, because we lived in different provinces, we emailed and coordinated a cute Skype date and booked her immediately afterwards. We were both super nervous when we first finally met her in person at our engagement shoot when we were visiting Kimberley for a ski trip. Courtney is an absolutely amazing person and photographer. When I was looking for a wedding photographer I came across her site and instantly loved her photos, we then got in contact and planned to meet. When we met, I instantly knew that she was the one we wanted to photograph our special day. She is funny, creative, super sweet and easy going- just what we were looking for. We had our engagement photos shortly after that and I was in love with each and every one of them. She touched based with me all the way for our engagement shoot up until the wedding, and helped me with the schedule and what not. I love Courtney!! My husband and I had our engagement and wedding pictures done by Courtney and we could not have been happier. Neither of us are comfortable in front of a camera but Courtney joked around and put us at ease. I had followed her on Facebook so I knew our pictures would be good but I was thrilled to see how great she made us look. We had fall engagement pictures after a huge snow storm and she went out of her way to find another location that wasn’t covered in snow and still looked like fall. And the way she got us to relax and look natural in our pictures seemed effortless. Our wedding pictures were outside on a cold January day. We took most of our pictures in three locations and you’d think we’d changed locations more often. She goes out of her way to scout areas ahead of time that work in many ways. And she isn’t afraid to get cold, wet or dirty to get the perfect shot. She has an eye and a creativity that makes her a wonderful photographer. If you hire her your only problem will be which pictures to hang on the wall because you’ll have so many amazing shots to choose from. Thanks again Courtney for the great memories!!
