Where to even start about how fantastic Bobbi is?! She is so engaging and her positivity and passion radiate off of her. We fell in love with her candid style and way of capturing moments that made you feel like you were there and as soon as we talked we knew we had found who we wanted as our wedding photographer. She has been amazing to communicate with (especially with through all of the COVID complexities) and when we finally got to meet face to face for our engagement shoot, it was so much fun! We did a sunrise hike up a mountain (EEOR) and we absolutely LOVE how the pictures turned out. Can't wait to have her at our wedding (for the photos of course but also because she's such a joy to be around)!

Bobbi was so great to work with - we were pretty pumped to find someone local to where our wedding was (near Nakusp) as comfortable, fun, and willing to take photos of our uncooperative dog as Bobbi was. It was important to us to find a photographer that shared some of our values and would be okay with photographing our tiny, not-that-traditional wedding, and Bobbi was all that and more. We didn't initially plan to do engagement photos, but they turned out to be a great way to get to know Bobbi and get some amazing photos. Then, by the time the wedding rolled around, we knew we didn't have to worry about anything. Bobbi captured details of our wedding that we didn't even see - so needless to say there were a lot of surprised laughs and happy tears as we went through our photos for the first time. It only took us 2 days to order our wedding prints because we were so excited to get the photos up on our walls! Thanks so much Bobbi!

We met Bobbi waaaaaay back in 2020...and since then, we feel incredibly lucky every time we see an engagement photo, wedding photo, or hear or see anything wedding related, because it reminds us that we had the most amazing experience with her; one that is truly life changing. Even when it isn't about our own wedding experience or the photos aren't of us, if we think 'wedding' or 'photographer' we take a minute and say to ourselves "Man we chose the right person, Bobbi absolutely killed it!" We feel so lucky because we are now able to reminisce of the most special day in our life, by way of the memories that she encapsulated, so perfectly, for us. She truly is the keeper of our MEMORY GOLD (and yes this is a term I just created to describe Bobbi!). Part of our initial choosing of a wedding photographer was influenced by another photographer not being available, as he was part of our wedding party. However, once recommended, it was very clear that Bobbi was serious about what she does- her passion, talent, and very cool Kootenay-style was evident from the first photograph we saw on her website. We knew we had to have her. We even changed the date of our wedding to ensure our memories were in the best hands possible. After our engagement session with her, we became even more excited, knowing she would be capturing our special day just the way we had hoped. Then, the gallery photos of our wedding exceeded any expectation we had. They were stupid good. We cried a lot of happy tears when looking at them, because seeing them is like re-living the day. This is the definition of nailing it. We look at other peoples wedding photos and I appreciate her style, quality, and overall talent as a photographer, even more so. Just in general, Bobbi is cool as all heck', and if you are lucky enough to have her snap pics for your business, engagement, wedding, or special occasion of any kind, you can give yourself a huge high five (every day for the rest of your life) because you made the right choice, and you will never regret it. You will never regret Bobbi.

Bobbi has been our 'go-to' photographer for all of the special events in our ordinary lives since we moved to the Kootenay's. You know, the wedding, the puppy, the baby... Bobbi has the natural ability to capture seemingly typical moments that you wouldn't have even thought were special at the time. Not until you see them in print yourself - through your very own (often unexpected!) tears - do you then realize that they were absolutely monumental to your memory of that moment in time. When Bobbi is photographing you and your family, you don't even realize that she is there. We researched local photographers thoroughly before we hired Bobbi, not only is she incredibly talented but she stands out with her unique style. We loved that she seemed to have a knack for capturing real moments. Honest, raw, emotional photography. We were also very drawn to the vibrancy of her colour photos and classic beauty of her black and white photos. Bobbi was amazing to work with and blew our expectations out of the water, with both our engagement session as well as our wedding photos. Our gallery is full of the most beautiful photos we could have ever imagined, well composed and creative. We relive every moment when we look at them. Also, COVID had us changing our plans several times this year, and Bobbi was unbelievably supportive and flexible throughout it all. We would and will invest in her again and again and again!

We hired Bobbi to document our non-profit Girl In The Wild experience— confidence-boosting camps for teenage girls in wild spaces. Her "brief" was to capture the the girls' experience and rising, their unravelling and their growth, to be snapping pics but never obvious, never taking away from the experience. And she did EXACTLY that and more. Bobbi captured the raw vulnerability and huge joys of our camp (and everything in between) and helped our organization tell a beautiful, emotional visual story of our program to engage donors moving forward and gift the girls with visual memories for a lifetime. I would give her 6 stars if I could! Bobbi was our wedding photographer and she captured our wedding in the most incredible way. Every time I look at a photo I’m brought back to that day. We really wanted a more candid style, pictures that made you feel like you were there again, and she did the most amazing job! It was exactly the things we were looking for and all the things we didn’t know we wanted. I recommend her to everyone I know who is looking for a photographer. We recently welcomed our first baby and knew without a doubt that Bobbi was the person we wanted for a newborn photo shoot. She worked her magic again and in her own style helped us capture those precious first few days so perfectly. She gets the real moments - the really important ones - but manages to also capture the magic too. I don’t know how she does it but she does! 11/10.

It's hard to really express what Bobbi does on your special day unless you experience it firsthand. She's less of a wedding photographer, more of a documentarian. She captures moments that are somehow both timeless and universal - a true talent. Also, she's a great wedding guest: kind, respectful, fun - almost old fashioned with her manners. As a photographer, she recedes into the background and you almost forget that she's snapping away. If you hire Bobbi as your wedding photographer you will get irreverent, candid shots and incredible quality. You'll feel lucky and you won't be sorry!

Bobbi took time out of her day to meet with us online and was genuinely interested in our relationship and what engagement/wedding photos meant to us. Bobbi's accolades and body of work speak for themselves, but what really separated Bobbi from anyone else was the amount she cared. I met with Bobbi for business photos, and our entire experience with her was phenomenal. When I told our staff we were doing business photos every single one of them groaned. When Bobbi came to the clinic, there was something about her energy and the way she explained everything that really made the staff, clients and patients not only willing to participate, but also very comfortable with the entire process—something I didn’t think was possible(seriously, have you ever tried to take a picture of your pet doing a cute thing?!). She so upbeat and engaging that she managed to get photos of every single one of our staff members without staging them like puppets! They were all in their natural elements. When I saw the photo album at the end I was in absolute awe, Bobbi is so talented-- every object, animal and person she captured was so natural and truly beautiful. I met Bobbi when she was photographing a good friend’s wedding - she was brilliant. Being a photographer and just ‘fitting in’ is quite the art - Bobbi owns the gift of being able to blend into the background or to be the life of the party, if that’s what you desire.
