Ive been to a wedding before where the photographer was too meek to speak up and tell people to move to the left or the right, etc. Carlee is the exact opposite of that photographer. She is committed to the perfect picture and she will yell and direct and manage and make jokes and balance on the "not a step" step of the ladder just to make damn sure everyone is looking at their 100% best. She is CRAZY committed to getting you the pictures you need without giving you a chance to worry about them. She's also just plain crazy, but that's OK. So if you want a sophisticated, quiet photographer whose going to treat you like just another customer and wont a fuss about the little things, pick someone else. But if you want someone who would risk breaking her arm to make sure you get THE perfect pictures, Carlee is the only option.

My highest recommendation to contact Carlee for your next photo session. She has taken my daughter's newborn pictures almost two years ago and just finished our first mini fall session family photos. The only problem you will have is choosing the images you want because they're all wonderful. Our fall session was so chaotic with two dogs running around and my shy and hungry daughter being finicky. I didn't think we would get one nice image, but the entire album is simply perfect. I don't know how she captured such genuine and perfect pictures of my family (and crazy dogs). Carlee's photos warm my heart. She captured our family so perfectly and is so welcoming and thoughtful. Our experience was awesome. During our mini-session she made working with an active, adventurous 2-year-old easy, and the resulting pictures were simply beautiful. So beautiful that we could not pick a selection but had to have them all! Carlee also took our newborn photos and I'm pretty sure is some sort of tiny-baby whisperer. I was convinced that my son would not tolerate being posed, bundled, etc, but he was putty in her hands.Obviously the pictures were amazing. (Note: I did ask her to be my forever babysitter, but turns out she's got this photography gig that keeps her busy.) Carlee aptly describes herself as a, "tornado of a woman", and I'm here to tell you that she is 100% accurate. She has so much energy and enthusiasm, it's contagious and part of what makes her an excellent professional (e.g. chasing 2-year-olds through the forest, while managing to capture their best selves on film). She is exceptionally talented. You will not be disappointed.
