I've been going to Fabutan for years. The staff are extremely nice and make you feel comfortable. There bulbs are changed always, and it's very clean. Hours are great to !!! I have tried other tanning stores...fabutan has to be the best !!!

The store is super clean and great staff I've never had an unpleasant experience at any fabutan other than this one time last week when I had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting this young lady I dont know her name. Theres a redhead that works there that I had the pleasure meeting as she gave away my appointment had a metal breakdown and freaked the heck out. She was very unprofessional all she had to do was say sorry but a bed just opened let me clean it and get u in nope that never happened she wanted to cry and freak out while I stayed 100 percent claim I think that made it worst for her... and than when i asked for the management she told me that she couldn't give out that information lol but hes at the other store.... this young lady needs to be buddy shifted for a while zero customer service skills. It was like dealing with a angry two year old

I can’t express how disappointed I was at this location today. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year and everyone that I have met there has been wonderful except this one girl - Kelsey Altwalter working at 6:45pm on Nov 14th. I was in earlier that day with a wonderful lash tech, Taylor. When I was paying I told both Taylor and Kelsey that I was considering coming in later with a friend. I explained I have an event to go to and I’m uncertain when the event will end. They told me that there’s no clients until 8pm for a spraytan so it wouldn’t matter if I’m late. So I’m like okay why not then put my friend and I down. We arrived at 6:45PM and Kelsey Altwater said neither of us can get a spray tan because we are late and that we are charged with a no show fee. I was not told of such policy before they booked me in. If I knew there were such policy I would have not scheduled a spraytan because I wasn’t sure when my event would end. During the entire conversation she was incredibly condescending and cutting my friend off. She was also shifting blame on another employee and the computer etc. She just won’t apologize or take responsibility. She continued to escalate the conversation by giving my friend and I a lecture on the importance of business and what business means. We would completely understand if she politely apologized for any confusions/miscommunications and gone another day. During the entire 30min of our conversation no customers for spraytan came in, which she claimed was right after us. She could’ve used those “revenue making time” (as she claims) and let us in and all of this wouldn’t been an issue. The way Kelsey Altwater handled the situation was incredibly immature and unprofessional. They should not have a person like her as the first point of contact for customers because I can say for certainly that my friend and I will not go to any Fabutan locations because of her.

I have been using fabutan for their spray tans for roughly 8-10 years. This most recent visit the bed malfunctioned and didn't spray correctly. Was glitching and spraying towards the door for part of the tan.. missing large portions of my body.. I was pretty upset but politely told the girl at the desk and asked for something to be done. Advised what was happening and told her she might not want to use the bed until it's looked at She told me to go home and shower and they can get me in on the north shore today. I explained that I live outside of town and don't have time to do that and was quite upset and would like someone to call me. To say the front desk girl was rude and combative was an understatement. I later received a call from the same girl saying the cartridge in the machine was empty and thus I received a full tan and theirs nothing they can do. After some back and forth she said I can come prove my tan was bad tomorrow in person and they may give me a credit on file. Zero empathy, wasn't listening to what I had to say, was just working her hardest to end the conversation. I remained calm but ended the call so frustrated. I wake today to a really poorly done spray tan, planning my outfit and knowing I now need to go deal with this extremely rude person to get a credit for a spray tan. And somehow cover the patcy mess I'm dealing with. I've decided it's not worth it, arguing for a 40 spray tan isn't worth my effort and the owner obviously doesn't care enough about customers to do anything. Disappointment is an understatement, have been using them for years with no issues and when I require customer service I'm met with easily the rudest person I've had to deal with in a long time. A credit on file would do nothing for me as I never plan on using their services again so why argue. There are other places in town that offer a similar product. If you are looking for a spray tan, I emplore you to look elsewhere.

What can i say Fabutan is entirely thee best tanning salon. I've been tanning there for a really long time and I always, always get amazing service and all the girls that work there are total dolls, such nice people...the lady that owns both salons in kamloops is also amazing herself. The bulbs are always changed regularly so you actually get what you pay for. Try it, I guaranteed you will leave feeling and looking incredible! ????????????

Fabutan is great! The facility is always so clean and tidy, the hours are awesome with my schedule and the staff is very helpful and welcoming! I have been tanning at Fabutan for a few years now, and definitley will be continuing tanning there for the years to come as well. Would definitley reccommend.

I have never spray or airbrush tanned before, but I had a photo shoot on the weekend. So I went in and talked to the girl working and decided to go with a spray tan. A week before my shoot I went and had a spray tan at the north hills center location. It turned out awesome. I tried to book it again a week later and the time was booked that I wanted so I booked for the hillside location and the girl was so helpful and kind. My color was so perfect. Thank you

First off the staff is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. Secondly they have the best hours compared to the other salons in town. I wont be tanning anywhere else other than Fabutan. The option to use my account at other locations help for when I travel for work, but this location is hands down my favorite. All around Fabutan is amazing, and my girlfriend loves their effortless spray tans.

I live in Vancouver and travel a lot for work. I stay in Kamloops quite often and I am so glad I started tanning with Fabutan. Since I travel a lot it makes me very happy that I can use my minutes at any of their locations. Their staff are also highly knowledgeable about their services, eye wear and lotions. Would highly recommend Fabutan.

Wish I could give 0 stars . Busy , not enough beds to keep up with the crowds , dirty beds , barely wiped at all , you can see the smudge of sweat when you go in . I got tinea versicolour from tanning here due to dirty beds and the staff not cleaning them thoroughly .
