I stumbled across Michael a few months ago and have been following his work ever since. His ability to capture the essence of his subjects and produce attention grabbing photographs is essentially what drew me to take a 1-on-1 lesson with him. The lesson was extremely thorough covering marketing, photography inspiration, model posing and photoshop techniques (dodge and burn, color grading, masking, etc.). Michael's hilarious and his warm, welcoming energy made me comfortable to ask him questions as he was covering various topics throughout the course! Overall, I would recommend him to anyone interested in learning more about editing and taking their photography to the next level!

I took a Skype lesson with Michael Dupe and I don’t know where to start, because the entire experience was incredible. He’s is funny, down to earth, kind, and amazing at teaching Photography, not just editing in photoshop (he’s awesome for that, too!). I signed up to only learn about photoshop, yet Dupe took it 10 steps farther by teaching me lighting, composition, and directing/posing techniques to use before you even click the shutter that I never thought of before. The additional information and examples made everything taught in photoshop so much easier to retain and understand. Its important to invest in yourself, whether you’re a beginner or seasoned pro, so I highly recommend taking a lesson or tutorial with Dupe if you’re looking to step up your portrait photography and editing skills. His lessons definitely help me!

Michael was very responsive since the first conversation we had. Made our 1on 1 zoom lessons simple and to the point. Gave great advice about what he believed I can improve on my photos and explained in detail how he finds the best angle and lighting for a shot. He answered all my questions in depth. We even went over the agreed time but he didn't rush to finish until he had finalized editing the photo we were working on.
