I've always wanted to do a boudoir shoot but never thought I would feel comfortable enough to commit. Following along with Alex's business on Instagram, I could feel the passion for his art through his posts. He frequently talks about the behind the scenes of his business and why he chose to focus on boudoir, giving me a better understanding of him and his business. Ultimately it was his professionalism and passion that shines through that pushed me to book a session. His photography style was also a huge reason that I booked! I love the minimalist, bright, and airy feel that his images have. Alex was great at preparing me for the session and I knew exactly what to expect coming in. I was still extremely nervous the day of the shoot, but within the first few minutes, those nerves completely faded away! Alex is great at making you feel comfortable by giving you direction, and one of my favourite parts was that he not only tells you how to pose, he SHOWS you. He even taught me how to achieve that classic 'model' face (something I thought I definitely couldn't do). The end result was beautiful, and I will always cherish the photos that Alex captured. If you're on the fence because you aren't sure if you 'can' do it, definitely make the jump! It was 110% worth it!

I can barely find the words to express how amazing this experience was. Alex is such a kind soul! As a plus-size lady I was really nervous but I was also worried about feeling uncomfortable, but I felt safe. I never once felt like I had to hide or apologize for my body. You can tell Alex genuinely wants you to feel confident, safe and empowered. Not only is his energy positive but his skills are incredible. His artistry really shines through in his editing process, and he edits in such a beautiful way; without altering anything body wise. Alex is awesome! I was nervous going into the shoot because I had never had boudoir photos taken before, but Alex was so welcoming and funny that I was able to feel much more comfortable as time went on throughout the shoot. He was so helpful in choosing the outfits and guiding the poses (and by guiding, I mean he actually did a lot of the poses himself!). I’ll just say that it definitely lightens the mood when your male photographer shows you how to do a “booty pop”! Even though the overall mood was fun and light-hearted, Alex was still extremely professional and I could really tell that he had a vision of what he was trying to achieve with the photos. And let me tell you, he achieved his vision - the photos turned out absolutely AMAZING! They are so bright and airy, and he made me look like an actual goddess! If you're looking for the best boudoir experience, stop your search! Not only are the quality of his photos amazing but not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or awkward, which I thought I would be. I had no prior experience but Alex is there to guide and coach you the whole way. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do boudoir pictures and will probably be back to do more myself in the future.
