We are a 60 something couple from Ontario, who are renovating our new home here. A couple of days ago we were in Home Depot with a massive list of plumbing and electrical supplies. We must have looked as confused as we were, and happily were rescued by Kevin in plumbing and Darryl from electrical supplies. Those two gentlemen had our cart full of everything we needed in a matter of minutes. We were sure we were going to be hours. We done Home Depot.

I went in to find a shelf, and luckily I didn't have to walk around searching for it, I asked someone where they were, they were seated so they pointed me in the right direction. Found my shelf easily, then I needed screws for it. I asked someone where they were and they pointed me down the correct isle. Friendly, helpful, easy to get what you need and get out.

Stopped in our local home depot today and have couple comments , we walked in looking for an item and didn't see it so we stopped where 2 employees were talking , one asking the other where something was and didn't bother to acknowledge us standing there waiting to ask one of them a question rather just ignored us and proceeded on their way, on top of that when we finally found someone to ask about the item we wanted we were told they didn't have it even though the website said the day before they had some in store stock but now nothing , very disappointing experience to say the least! Just maybe someone from Home Depot will see this and try to correct our experience someway !!

Good selection. There's my positive remark. And now my negative one: Was overcharged for some items and when I brought it to the attention of the checkout person she replied "Well, that's YOUR fault." (How being overcharged for something becoming my fault escapes me). Then I mentioned that I would like to cancel the whole exchange and I was told I'd have to go inside (wasn't fussy about that because of social distancing), wait in line and ask for a refund. I did just that, but won't have to any more, since I'm going to avoid the place . I left the store feeling upset, not going to put myself through that anymore.

I had to go in to your store for a quick run for some gloves and cleaner.I was going to the check out when we were met buy one of the cashiers blowing her nose in a cleanex.I have a heart valve transplant and wouldn't have left home unless I had to what is someone blowing their nose working.they had the apron on of the store we tried to stay away from her as far as we could.

Went to home depot today looking for one piece of wood for a craft project, I needed it cut in 6 pieces well the young man that was helping me treated me like I was the most important person in the store, he was so nice and helped me get just what I wanted his name was J.B. and the cashier was also very nice I dident get her name but you would think I was buying enough wood to build a house, this is not the first time I have had exceptionable service at our Home depot they all treat you very nice no matter what you are buying, Thanks Home Depot staff.

Good Home Depot with a good helpful staff. But I have to comment on a ridiculous situation I encountered there. One person ahead of me in the checkout. Cashier asks if he would like to apply for the Home Depot credit card. End of the speedy checkout experience once he indicated yes. They need to run his driver license and another credit card through their credit approval process at the check out and not somewhere more appropriate like Customer Service desk. After about 7 minutes and a growing line behind me and a complaint to another employee I was sent to another checkout. Paid for my stuff and upon exiting the same holdup at the other cashier because the credit approval process wasn't done yet. Who instituted this stupid policy ?
