One of the only places left in town that will develop film. Went there with an email attachment for a 8 x 10 photo I wanted to print for my family and left 10 minutes later with the photo touched up and in a beautiful frame. Definitely would recommend if you like photography. As far as I can tell sooters is a Canadian company. One of the last chains that will develop film and much better than going to Walmart to print your pictures. I think they do passport pictures as well. The woman who helped me was very kind, knowledgeable, skilled at Photoshop and got the job done quickly.

Awesome quality. The employees are friendly and the service for same day photos is very fast. Also the ID photos are guaranteed and I never got any rejections. I recently tried their online service and it's really convenient to use. ( you can even print photos from Instagram!!!!)

Great service, employees are nice and helpful. I went to take a photo for getting my Chinese Visa a few weeks ago, I got my digital photo, but later on I found what I really need is the hard copy. I went to the store again, explained the situation, they fixed the hair on the photo and printed me two photos. I was very happy.

Bought some Polaroid film from them that ended up being the wrong size. Went to return it, but I didn't have the receipt, and the woman working there was super rude and wouldn't even consider returning them. The boxes were unopened, in perfect condition, and had the price tags on them. Terrible service, and expensive. Go to Henry's instead!

Good location and convenient times. The staff was arguing with one another. They have a ton of options but they need to make the options a little more transparent for the customers. I didn't really know what my options were unless they told me what they were. Maybe have a binder with examples to show all the possible options and what they're generally used for in the descriptions.

Took my film to get developed on to a USB stick. Price was fair at $11 Taxes in. The film took a a week to develop. When I had gotten it back, my negatives were scratched and the scans were very bad (Low resolution at less than 2MP, and lots of digital artifacts from over-compression) I would still use them for film development as I believe it was scanning the photos that scratched them because every 5th photo (The start of another film cut) were unscathed. Then just get a 5 MP film scanner off of amazon for 60 bucks. If you need high-quality scans, same day. I recommend GPC, downtown. You get photos at four-times the size, same day for only $7 more at $18 taxes in.

This place is a joke. They have no organization when it comes to the photo's they are doing for you. No calls to let me know they are there, couldn't find them even with the receipt. Argued that I had picked them up when I had not. Then found them after checking several drawers.

I came here to get some photo prints done and was surprised at the prices which are much higher than other shops in the area who offer the same services & quality. They also charge a $2 just for emailing them the image files that you want printed! Seriously? A surcharge for opening an email? And on top of that the staff I spoke to weren't exactly the most pleasant. How are you going to attract customers with service like that?

Walking in to the store straight away was a pleasant experience with the staff being so helpful and friendly. The first visit I needed to use the photo centre and wasn’t aware of how exactly it worked and staff were so patient with me. Management has really trained their staff well and the team seems to work so good together. I’m just glad to have found a place also to have traditional film developed from my daughters disposable camera too:) I highly recommended trusting Sooter’s for all your photo needs ????!

This place was the only store in Ottawa that was recommended to develop my films and process photos and the price was in the middle, wasn't expensive nor cheap. as i have no knowledge regarding films The Employees were very helpful and welcoming and are willing to answer my questions. At $15.99 i say it's a very decent price.

I went in to get a single photo printed, submitted a jpeg with the help of one of the employees, then was told it would take 45 minutes to print. I gave them my phone number then waited the full 45 minutes, came back to them telling me that the file wasn't readable. They didn't bother to contact me during the entire 45 minutes, I didn't get my photo printed, and they didn't even apologize. What kind of print shop can't print a standard jpeg lol Would not recommend. Awful experience.

First of all, I must say that this is above and beyond a five-star review. Although, we have been customers of the Sooter’s Downtown location for over two decades, this is the first time we got service from the Prince of Wales Drive location. The purpose of going to this location was that they offer full photography services, such as taking family portraits. We had planned to attend a special occasion a week ago. So, a few days prior to the event, we decided that it would be nice and convenient to take a family portrait on the same day as the event. As we all know, it is impossible to find places to book an appointment with such short notice. Since we are customers of the Sooter’s Downtown location, I decided to call the Prince of Wales Drive location to find out if they offer family portrait service. I spoke with Theshlen and he mentioned that that particular day was fully booked, but that he was willing to accommodate us at another date/time. When I explained the reason for the specific time and date of the appointment, he quickly understood my request, and reserved me for the time I requested. When we arrived, although it was a very busy day for them, Theshlen and his staff took their time to take every single pose until they were perfect. We were so pleased with the session and the way they took every step professionally and personally, demonstrating their exemplary customer service. We definitely recommend this place if you value excellent customer service and fine photo quality.

Best place to get your baby’s passport photos! Our baby cried a lot at first but the ladies were super patient. Finally got the perfect shot! Our baby is 5 month old and there was a bumbo high chair that she could sit on to take the picture. It cost 22.60 but well worth the price for the convenience.

I would give 0 if I can. They have couple young male staff who don’t know anything about film but pretend they are pro. And they always mess up something. Once, I took passport photo in here, and turn out it was not qualified because bad image quality. Also, I always came here for film development and scanning simply because I live nearby. But every time they did something wrong because they never listen to customer. When I said just to develop the film, they are going to print all picture out. When I said scan the developed film, they never remember to do so after waiting for a whole week. I bring my developed film asked them to scan to a usb, they said it’s too late, they can’t be scanned after developed. WTH? Seriously? Get some training before come to work, ok?! I will never come back this store for any works. Their young staffs don’t know what they are doing at all. Totally waste money and time!

Fantastic service, helpful, understanding, went out of their way. I had a damaged old photo that needed repair, Soheil, staff member said it usually takes 2 days. After explaining my situation that I needed it yesterday, Soheil asked if I could wait. He informed Gholam the staff member who repaired my photo about my problem. These young men were great I had a beautiful restored picture in 1 hour. They went above and beyond. Thank guys, you're the best.

Ridiculous Prices. $5.20 per 3 printed pages!!!! They charged me $3.99 + tax for 5 minutes of internet, just for downloading documents from my email. $4.51 including tax. I felt absolutely stolen!!!! Will never go there again

I got some photos developed here.Terrible printing quality. The colour is bad and they look like bad digital photos that were printed on poor quality paper rather than film photos. Paid $18! I paid $10 in Toronto and got much higher quality photos. Will not use their services again.
