Joel & Justyna were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Sweet yet professional, they were a lovely addition to our wedding day. They made sure that photos did not take us away from the act of getting married and then celebrating it! Additionally, they made things as comfortable and organic as possible, especially for two people who hate having their pictures taken. None of the photos felt or looked too forced. We are thrilled with the photos from that day. They are beautiful, unique, and artful.

If I had to name the best decision I made around my wedding, it was booking Joel and Justyna. I actually think I chose my date, based on their availability. Hands down, they are the best in the business, their work is flawless, they are professional, with incredible vision. Below are just a few of my many coveted photos from my Wedding Day shot by Joel and Justyna. They were an absolute treat to work with from start to finish- responsive, professional, reliable and unique. Justyna even helped me seek out the perfect location for my pre-wedding Bridal Party photos to meet my specific tastes. They spent over an hour on the phone with my now husband and I before even discussing the signing of any contracts just to get to know us as a couple and understand our vision for our big day. They offered helpful wedding planning advice well beyond photography on numerous occasions throughout the planning process. To top it all off, they are both very cool, down to earth people. It was nice to just be around them.Now onto their work- our photos were all breathtaking. Their styles and etiquette as a working couple compliment each other perfectly! But the magic goes well beyond this- they have a knack for capturing raw emotion. When I look at my photos, I am taken right back to that moment in the most powerful way. I even have the ability to see the wedding through the souls of my guests. As a bride, this is invaluable as the day does seem to fly right by you no matter how conscious you are to take time time to pause. I would recommend this duo over and over again. To say we were happy with our photography experience with Joel and Justin would be an understatement. From beginning to end J&J were Sweet, Kind and Very Professional. We truly felt like they were part of the family attending our big day rather than a vendor hired to do a job. The photos are STUNNING. J&J captured our day beautifully, the photos represented Conor and I's love for each other flawlessly. They took the time to get to know us as a couple and in turn were able to capture the feeling of our day perfectly. I've been to so many weddings where the photographer(s) can be a huge distraction. J&J were like magicians, they blended right into our guests, never overshadowing the moment and were still able to get every moment from every angle. The added bonus is that they're a loving couple themselves so they knew how important taking those moments as a newly married couple were. When I started wedding planning, the decision I was most worried about was choosing a wedding photographer. I work in film so I have a trained eye and high standards for photography. I didn't like the recommendations I received from our planner or friends. Fortunately I found Joel and Justyna's profile on Instagram! Check out their work because it really speaks for itself. They have a knack for capturing natural, heartfelt moments, choosing beautiful compositions, and their sense of color and light is spectacular. (I saw the light they were working with on the day, which seemed meh/okay to me, but then looks stunning in their photographs.) Their aesthetic is classic and timeless, so their photos can easily be treasured for a lifetime. They're also lovely people - which is important! As you may have heard, you'll interact with your wedding photographers more than anyone other than your spouse that day. Joel & Justyna are charming, understated and put everyone at ease. They also have a ninja-like knack for disappearing while photographing all of the moments you want them to. Hire them! They are truly artists of a high caliber - while also being professional, prompt and easy to work with.

After meeting Joel and Justyna, we knew that it was the perfect fit! In the early planning stages, we scoured photography websites looking for a photographer that would resonate with us. Joel Bedford Photography stood out for their artistic, but genuine approach to capturing the moments of a wedding. Their ability to capture those truly special, unique, and unspoken moments in an unscripted, but artistic manner was what caught our eye. It was a sigh of relief to find this approach to wedding photography after meetings and email exchanges with numerous others. I truly feel we can look back at our photos for years to come and cherish the timeless, candid memories they captured for us. When I saw the photos on their website, I have to say I assumed this husband/wife duo were just as serious in demeanour as their photos appear. Instead, we were greeted at our engagement shoot with these two unassuming, hilarious, down to earth, kind individuals who were just as excited about our day as we were. From the very early stages of wedding planning my fiancé and I valued wedding photos as a top priority. After researching many online portfolios, we found too many traditional/typical wedding type photos from local photographers which was not what we were looking for. Friends of ours suggested Joel and Justyna and after going through the first five pics on their online website I was sold. Thank God they were available since these two get booked up FAST!!! I guess it was meant to be... From day one they were very responsive, quick to reply and above all super nice and down to earth people. We felt that they "got us" and felt that we can put our total trust in them. They're professional, punctual and polite. Many guests after the wedding gave us very positive feedback about them and we couldn't stop raving about them as well. One neat thing I'd like to add is that even though they are following you everywhere on the wedding day, we felt that they were incognito (in a good way) as if they were flies on the wall capturing the day from a distance. These two are a fantastic pair. Everything they do is absolutely fabulous. Their work speaks for itself. I'm literally obsessed with everything they do and we're for sure going to hire them again to capture some other important moments in our life. After the wedding prepping, details and hours making sure everything is all perfect, your photos are pretty much the only thing you have left to help you re-live this dream of a day. It's been 5 months since we got married and to this day I probably look through our wedding photos twice a week. They were able to capture those big moments, the small moments you might have missed and all those in between moments of the day. We appreciate all the hard work, talent and expertise as well as the friendship we developed with them over the course of this past year. These two are absolutely amazing. It was a total joy and privilege to have them be part of our wedding day and would recommend Joel and Justyna to anybody.

Having Joel and Justyna photograph our New Years Eve wedding was one of the best decisions we made. They are wonderfully talented, very thoughtful, and they made us both feel completely relaxed the whole day. They captured personal moments, often without anyone noticing they were being photographed. For us, having photographers that were discreet and subtle during the ceremony and celebration was important. They also set up an awesome portrait studio before dinner, which allowed us to gift our friends and family with gorgeous family portraits. Everyone looked like they were on the cover of Vanity Fair, and our guests loved it! Our photos are really pieces of art - they capture the joy and small moments of love throughout the day and evening. We are thrilled with how beautiful, unique, and fun the album is. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how awesome Joel & Justyna are! I booked them way back in 2019 for my then-2020 wedding. They were so patient and helpful during our COVID postponement (an entire year, to 2021!). Due to border issues (our wedding was US based), Justyna came by herself with a local second shooter. Justyna made us and our family feel so comfortable and she blended right in to the event so it never felt like a photoshoot. Even our priest commented afterwards that she was discrete and tasteful during our Catholic ceremony, something he doesn't usually experience from wedding photographers! Our gallery is breathtaking and brings me so much joy. The emotion they captured is palpable in the photos. An absolutely joyful experience from start to finish, despite a global pandemic! Pro tip: hire them to photograph your rehearsal dinner, too!
