Short story time - We had originally planned on getting married in Eureka Springs, AR. After not being impressed or wowed by other photographers in the area, no offense to them they just weren't what I was looking for, my wedding planner suggested I look at Jason’s gallery. I booked him immediately. Change of location/ venue (due to Covid protocols) and he was able accommodate my new plans. (400 miles he traveled!) We had him shoot our rehearsal instead of our engagement photos since we lived in Chicago and I'm so happy we did. One or the biggest weekends of my life and he caught it ALL. The pictures came back better than I could ever imagine, such drama and creative choices for lighting that I've never seen in any of my other friend's pictures. I was getting recommendations from all of our friends in the area, feeling a little overwhelmed. However, we knew we wanted to go with Vinson Images seconds after first meeting with them. Jason and Chasnie are so unique. Not only in their photography, but also in the fact that they are married and shoot together. After being blown away by their work, finding out they work side-by-side was an added bonus. Our first session with them was our engagement photo shoot. We cannot tell you enough how fun and comfortable they made you feel the entire time. Not only were the photos beyond beautiful, but you get access to every single one, whereas with some photographers you are only given a handful to choose from. Leading up to the wedding Jason and Chasnie were so helpful. They genuinely cared about how things were going, and also would give us advice on other vendors, wedding ideas, etc. They helped make our wedding day perfect. We loved that the whole day Chasnie spent time shooting the girls, and Jason the guys. It really made everyone feel so comfortable - something you might not feel if you have just 1 or 2 male photographers in your dressing room, and/or vs. versa. We were absolutely blow away by our wedding photos, and especially appreciated that they got every shot that was important to us. Where we might have had stressors about other details in the wedding, photography was never one. Vinson Images, were so timely, professional, and wonderful with everything. We will recommend them to any newly engaged couples, and will be using them again in our future! :)
