A good photographer. Just wasn’t very happy with the turn around time for receiving the photos. I understand that it takes time to edit photos, but I just didn’t think it was very cool that while we were waiting for our photos, Annie was editing and posting pictures from shoots that took place after ours. When we did receive our photos, they were great. But it felt like they weren’t prioritized as much as other clients were. Maybe because we didn’t book a full session...? (We booked a shorter, mini session.) But regardless, a paying customer is a paying customer.

Posting this on behalf of my daughter, who wasn’t a fan of her senior portraits we had hired Annie to take. I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion, but after days upon days searching for the right photographer to take her senior pictures my daughter decided on Annie. She was beyond excited because upon looking at the pictures on her Instagram and Facebook she thought the quality was beautiful and I agreed. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t pick the venue in which the pictures were to be taken, for $225 we thought we’d for sure get to decide where the portraits would take place. But my daughter decided it wasn’t a problem and settled for her pictures to be taken at the Janet Huckabee Nature Center like Annie said. The shoot was a lot shorter than anticipated. And I believe the photos showed that. There were only 3 from the gallery that my daughter absolutely loved, but the rest she believed made her look “awkward.” She was disappointed that her photos didn’t turn out as well as the models featured on Annie’s Instagram, and for that reason we’ll be retaking her photos with someone else, else where.
