Eva did our engagement and wedding pictures almost 4 years ago (ahh crazy) and I only have great things to say! I've had the pleasure of engaging Eva Derrick Photography a few times now, for events and most recently for a portrait session. I'd always loved her style, and level of professionalism when capturing the intimate, candid moments of an event, but working one-on-one with her in a portrait session showcased her creativity and ability to work with her clients to make me completely comfortable in front of the lens and truly get the image that I loved. There were far too many favourites to choose from, and I couldn't be happier with the premium experience from start to finish. I had the pleasure of meeting Eva and her team at a recent event. She was running the headshot studio for all 300+ attendees and the process could not have gone smoother. She was happy to work with each individual to get them looking their best for the shot, and did it so effortlessly and efficiently that there was never a long wait! And, she had all the images touched up and sent out by the next morning! If you needed further touch ups or different sizes, she was happy to make any additional edits for you as well. I absolutely loved working with them and would definitely recommend their service!

Eva is fantastic! My fiancé arranged for her to capture our surprise proposal on a winery in Niagara on the lake. At the very last minute the staff at the location moved where the proposal was going to happen, she adjusted immediately and set up at the new location in time to capture our moment. She was so warm and helpful when taking our pictures, I felt very comfortable even though I had just met her. The edited pictures were given to us in a timely manner and they are stunning. We just had our 'engagement' shoot with her before our wedding in 2 months, and it was even better! She again, took so much time to make sure the pictures represented our personalities, and made us feel very comfortable. She even would fix small wardrobe/hair issues, which seems small but you don't want your necklace askew in the perfect laughing picture or hair in your face when leaning in for a smooch. I am so excited to have our wedding pictures taken with Eva!

Eva and the team at Philosophy was amazing to work with. We hired Eva to be our wedding photographer and we were not disappointed. Leading up to the date, Eva was so sweet, she sent us messages to touch base and really felt like she personally cared about us and the upcoming wedding! She also asked if I needed help sourcing vendors, and she gave us some really good recommendations for local vendors. A few weeks before the date, she sent out a few emails to help organize the day in terms of the necessary shots we wanted, and all of our vendors names. On the day of, my guests were FLOORED to see how organized each shot was. Her and an assistant showed up and ensured that everything on our list was taken care of. The pictures were delivered to us quickly, and they are BEAUTIFUL! On the day of she made us feel so comfortable, and was super flexible when we have last minute changes. I would highly recommend working with Philosophy and hope to personally work with them again!

Disgusted that a "professional" photographer would share pictures taken at a event with everyone who paid for her services. My daughter's pictures were sent to unknown individuals without my consent. Her excuse was that "We were going to email them out individually, but that would have slowed our workflow down and we were too excited to wait any longer" Extremely lazy and unprofessional. Buyers beware, your pictures may be shared with strangers.
