So I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I typically use reviews on sites like this to help me make my decisions. For that reason Raph completely deserves and earned my review. My girlfriend and I were traveling to a few cities in Canada, but wasn’t sure where to propose. So I did some research on multiple sites and actually stumbled across a few of Raph’s pictures on Instagram. His style really stood out to me as unique and artistic over other photographers in the Toronto area and the areas of Canada I researched. So I decided to message him as my first choice, and see if he was available/if I could afford to hire him. Since I wasn’t from Toronto I didn’t really know locations well, but Raph really helped direct my research though emails to help me choose a place that fit our personalities perfectly along with providing unique pictures. While taking pictures of the proposal they got perfect angles all while giving my nervous self, plenty of space. After we had some time in the moment and still probably shaking, Raph directed us to sit on the edge of the pier to make phone calls to family and just relax in the moment. Afterwards we had a photo shoot, and during the photoshoot we could really tell Raph is really a true artist. He gets so excited and happy while he is taking pictures, and is super creative on the spot. I was really shocked on how he can walk onto a site, and keep finding new exciting angles. I am completely not someone who is comfortable in front of the camera or taking pictures. My fiancé jokes how I never like taking pictures with her, but Raph and Oliver really help you feel comfortable. I know this is just a little thing, my Fiance so appreciated how Oliver helped to look after our stuff while he was holding the off camera lighting. For anyone looking for a Photographer in the Toronto area should 100% consider Raph if you want someone who will make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and someone who is a true artist and takes immense pride in his work.

He was very approachable and easy to work with, and very energetic - he did not miss a beat or any event during the whole day. Raph (& Oliver!) is absolutely fantastic to work with! From the first meeting, through the engagement shoot, album building processes, and of course our big day. He made every step of the process fun and easy, and worked with us around our (often) busy schedules. He makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and his low pressure approach to the business side of the relationship is just as smooth. I would try to tell you all about the quality of his work, but it really speaks for itself better than I ever could - go check it out for yourself! I can't recommend enough, and you would be doing yourself a disservice not to sit down with him prior to deciding who is going to capture your wedding day

My husband and I had our engagement shoot in Sept 2016 and wedding in June 2017. We were so happy to have Raph and his assistant (Oliver) part of our wedding. We knew right from the start that they were quality people. Very personable, professional, and reliable, which is key during wedding preparation. Not only were we happy with the photos, but extended family and friends have commented on how great they were at the reception at capturing moments, without getting in the way. We just got our wedding album over the holidays and it was the best gift we could have received! Raph's ability to capture the energy and mood is amazing! First off, Raph’s approach and focus on getting to know us as individuals was certainly a differentiating factor for us. He spent time learning about my wife and I as individuals, which immediately put us at ease. From there, everything was simple and easy. Raph is absolutely amazing! Do not look anywhere else. He creates beautiful, artistic photographs and is so fun to work with. He gives next day teaser photos so you get to see some of his amazing work right after your wedding - which gets you so excited to see the rest. My husband and I have only been married for 4 days and have probably looked at our teaser photos over 100 times - they are just THAT good! Everyone I have shown our photos to is just blown away and wow'd! Seriously, I could talk for hours about how amazing and talented he is. You will not regret hiring him. He is truly the best.

Raph is the real deal when it comes to photography. I had a great feeling about Raph from the very beginning for our wedding and wow, did he ever deliver. First off and most importantly, the pictures are stunning. His creativity, use of light or random 'scenic backgrounds' around us resulted in so many "WOW" pictures. Second, he's a professional through and through - class act, blends in yet takes charge when he needs to and brings your vision to life. Lastly, Raph is such an easy person to get a long with, my wife and I were actually excited to have him around for the entire wedding day... If this isn't testament enough that you're in the most capable hands with Raph, two friends from my wedding party have already hired Raph for their weddings and they are SO excited to have him as a photographer. My husband and I hired Raph for our engagement photos, pre-wedding festivities and our special day. We were so happy that we found the perfect photographer to capture our special moments! Raph is beyond talented and works effortlessly to capture the perfect shots. We were astonished with his commitment during our celebrations as he broke his ankle (prior to) and was working in a cast. If you are indecisive about your decisions on who to choose as your photographer, you will not regret working with Raph. He has his own cozy studio and makes you feel at home while reviewing and editing your pictures and is very organized and punctual. The print quality in his pictures are not cheap and many of the material used in his albums are from Italy.

I had a few photographers to choose from. In the end we decided to go with RAPH. His work is just special one of a kind. I grew up surrounded by art. So I didn’t want just any photographer. I wanted someone who could capture the moment but also give us something unique. We couldn’t of asked for anything more amazing. He did our engagement shoot and entire wedding day from morning to night. He walked us through everything. We picked up our wedding album recently. Every time I look through it, brings a smile to my face. Every time I go through it I find something I didn’t notice before. Raph is an incredible photographer who is a complete professional, fantastically creative and wonderfully kind and engaging. Everyone who has seen Raph's photos of our engagement and wedding is stunned by how gorgeous they turned out. I am not one who likes my photo taken and Raph did absolutely everything to make me feel comfortable in front of the camera as well as providing helpful tips and hints around making the photos turn out even better. He was excellent with the rather large child contingent we had for our wedding (6 flowergirls/ring bearers as well as a jr bridesmaid and jr groomsman) as well as the many iterations of family photos we needed. But that is just the beginning and the basics of what Raph can do. We had a winter wedding and engagement photos taken on the Royal Fair grounds which Raph wholeheartedly embraced and gave us incredibly creative photos and keepsakes that will last a lifetime. Raph offers as huge range of print options including acrylics which we purchased and a beautiful keepsake album. I have been somewhat remiss in not mentioning Raph's assistant Oliver. Oliver does a fantastic job reading Raph's mind and supporting him at every turn but he also gets into the action and takes some fantastic photos as well! Raph is well worth every penny you spend on him as your photos will be the one thing you can keep forever to remember the day.
