Went to the studio in New West yesterday to get my daughter (2 mo.) passport pic taken. The photographer was very professional, the final picture was really awesome. One down side is the studio is not really stroller accessible, it has a staircase but no ramp, but no big deal.

I am happy with the service I received. I received a call from Yoshi this morning and after our conversation I have a much more positive outlook regarding this company and their customer service. I appreciate the time he took to listen to my concerns and I was able to learn that there is an option for delivery if prepaid. That would have been quite helpful and as a solution Yoshi has agreed to send our family photo out to us today. I want to thank Memotime for their consideration and do hope that others will choose to seek this local company out. *updated* I found booking awkward, online only with multi date selection required. Confirmation was by email. Customer service was not available and after the session was confirmed by photographer the company was not reliably reachable by phone. I still haven't picked up our prints because we live in Langley and their hours of operation are not dependable as they seem to be based on the number of bookings. There has been no contact beyond the primary one to inform me that my prints were available for pick up and there was not an option for me to have them mailed or delivered by courier. I asked. Overall, I am disappointed. The photographer was uninspired and and details like jewelry off centre was not considered worthy of correction. So, although I enjoyed the outing with my family I will not book with this company again.

My two daughters and I had our pictures taken and I couldn't be more impressed with the service and pictures. The photographer was super friendly and was able to get my 3 year old to smile for the pictures which can be a challenge at times. He was amazing with the kids and took some gorgeous pictures of them. I was completely taken back that we were able to look at the pictures moments after he took them and then he offered to take more of us. Once we left, we left with a DVD of all the pictures and in less than 2 hours, received an email thanking us for coming in and with all the pictures uploaded via dropbox. I highly recommend anyone looking to get some professional pictures taken, you won't be disappointed by their skills or customer service.

They are both very professional and the studio is in a convenient spot and set up well! The shoot, photo review and digital copies we took home were all done quickly, efficiently and high quality. This was a gift to my boyfriend for his convocation and we honestly had so much fun doing it! Our photographer, Yoshi, did an amazing job at making us feel comfortable and giving us ideas for different poses. Extremely unprofessional. I searched up ‘where to get passport photos done near me’ and decided to choose this location since it is close the the station. The day before my supposed “appointment”, I got a text asking if I wanted my pictures done at 2pm or 2:30pm the next day. I chose 2:30pm. The next day, two hours before the appointment, I got a text from them asking if I could come in earlier? YOU gave me an appointment time to choose from, therefore stick with it. I ended up going somewhere else: walk in, cheaper, professional, polite staff with high quality photos. Why would I give my money to someone who can not stick to a time they agreed on? They sent me a rude text afterwards because I didn’t show up since I was turned off by the appointment time change text. Stay mad. Not bothered by it as their business and their responsibility to keep it as professional as possible. When you give a client the option to come in at a certain time, do not try to get them in earlier. Really rude. Do not recommend.

Yoshi was a great photographer. He had good ideas for poses and wasn’t shy to fix hair, clothes and body angle to make it the best picture it could be. So many don’t bother to fix that strand of hair noticeably out of place!! Definitely will go there from now on!

My husband came across a voucher for a free 1hr session at Memotime photography. Since we just had a baby we thought why not give it a try for a family/newborn shoot?! So happy we did! Yoshi did an amazing job keeping our 3 year old entertained and smiling, and the 3 week old calm and comfortable throughout the shoot. Our pictures turned out beautiful! We ended up purchasing all of them because we couldn't pick out which was better than the last! Great experience, would def go back and recommend to others!

He has an amazing way of making you feel very comfortable. We never felt rushed or anything. He took some great pictures of my seven year old daughter. Just want to say that Yoshi was really amazing. He was very patient with me and my boyfriend. Had to go back again to purchase all our photos because only bought 2 poses on the day of. He even offered us an amazing deal. Highly recommend this place because of Yoshi and his work. I've been to Sears and Walmart photo studio before because that's what Groupon offers and Yoshi's work is far beyond that. I always just go by our Groupon policy of one pose. I used to only get 1 pose from previous photography studios but with Yoshi's service and work, he deserved a client buying all of the photos. Thank you again Yoshi =)

Do not waste your money on this business. The photos we received were not studio quality. When we told them we were not happy. The Manager Vic asked us to show him photos we had done at other photographer studios. "Because he is always looking to improve his business". When my family went to show him, Vic did not show up. Yoshi was there instead and promised the next set of prints would be of the same quality we brought in to show Vic. But again the quality of prints where not good quality. No difference. We paid $325.00 plus the $25.00 Groupon that my son had purchased as a Xmas gift for me (his Mom). The prints we received for the $350.00 were no better than prints from Costco. When we again talked to Vic about a refund he said he would only refund the $25.00. This event took over a month to deal with. Still do not have any refund. A lot of back talk and excuses. There is no way I would suggest using this company. It should have been a red flag that they do not display any of their prints in the studio. The prints where ready to pick up the next day after we were told a couple of weeks. There is no consultation involved in picking which photos they put on your disc. They are behind closed doors while you wait. .

We bought a package for my mom to take a larger group family photo for the first time. She loved the photos and had a positive experience! The studio has a good space and location. Karen even managed to take some lovely portraits of our young daughters - it's hard to get them to smile like that for the camera. Thanks for the photos!

It was our first time to go for a family shot in a studio with our baby boy and we like how our photographer was patient and very clear with what poses she wanted for us to do. Then she was very prompt with editing. We were pleasantly surprised that she upgraded the additional package that we got since there were many photos we liked. The cost was very reasonable and relatively inexpensive for high quality and excellent service. We will definitely come back every year
