WOW! AMAZING! I had photos taken by Lisa at Ladybird Photography of my newborn son. In my opinion, in order to be a great baby photographer not only do you have to take great photos, manage your props and environment extremely well but most importantly you have to have a strong ability to negotiate the temperament of a newborn child. The latter is probably the toughest part and Lisa does all of these things with great patience, care and creativity, all while providing a calm and comfortable environment in her studio. I can barely manage our baby by myself and she was able to manipulate him to get some really AMAZING shots! You can tell when someone has done 10,000 hours of a particular task just by the way they handle themselves in their craft. Lisa’s experience definitely shows this with all of the tricks she had up her sleeve to increase the likelihood of BEAUTIFUL photos. I never truly appreciated what EXCEPTIONAL photographers really do (especially baby photographers) but seeing Lisa in action and then seeing the results of her HARD WORK proves it’s money very well spent. Lisa is a natural and very gifted in her craft! VERY HIGHLY recommended photographer.

Booked a family mini-shoot with Lisa for the holidays. Booking a session was a breeze with clear expectations of cost and what we were receiving. Everything about our experience during and after the shoot has been great. It is hard enough to get my kids to sit still for a single photo and Lisa was able to capture so many incredible moments with both of them or all of us. She showed an amazing amount of patience and clearly knew how to get the most out of 2 highly energetic 5 year olds. The quality of the photos themselves are fantastic and it was a very reasonable amount of time before we had access to everything.
