Highly recommend! I booked with Sharyar and he was extremely patient and accommodating despite the fact that I had a ridiculous schedule. When we did find a time that worked, Sharyar did a spectacular job getting 3 boys ranging from 5-15 to take great pictures together. His pricing was very good especially considering we got to keep our digital prints. Beautiful pictures! Edit: right after I posted my review I noticed that the review right before mine also described Sharyar as “patient and accommodating”, I think that just goes to show what consistently great service he provides!

Short summary: Box Cube did a wonderful job! They were professional and courteous throughout our entire experience. Despite challenges and things the derailed us Box Cube (Sharyar) got us back on track without missing any of the photos we wanted. It’s like he pause time. Thank you Sharyar and Box Cube! Full review: From day one Box Cube/Sharyar was professional and told us that he was there to help. We met with a total of 23 photographers and videographers and when we decided on Box Cube we didn’t really know what they meant by “I’m here to help you”. Box Cube got us in front of a camera too feel a bit more comfortable and to learn about the style and pictures we liked. They also assisted with our search for makeup artist, hair dressers, location ideas, formal combinations, etc. Box Cube/Sharyar was like a mini wedding assistant. As the day came closer the support increased up to the day (they didn’t just take a deposit and disappear). They were again professional and helped us overcome “hiccups” and ensured they got all the photos we wanted. They caught every moment throughout the day (don’t think they even ate or took a break ….sorry). I’m not sure what happened but at some point my wedding party grew by 1. Somehow Box Cube/Sharyar was taking photos doing his thing but was still checking in to make sure I didn’t need anything. You would think when he checked in it was about photography right? NOPE, I knew my bridal party grew when Sharyar came over (me thinking there is a problem) just to ask if we need water or a drink and said “we are having a great time”. We were presented a reception slide show which was amazing. Finally when our photos were done we received another slide show that we are going to watch forever. The photo albums, canvas prints, etc are worthy of a museum. Absolutely there are the Costcos, London Drugs, etc but if you want quality save your efforts and save your memories with Box Cube. I’m not an art person by far but if I can notice a difference… Thank You Box Cube and I can’t wait to be able to work with you guys for family photos.

We had our extended family of nine for a full family session and Sharyar did an excellent job of instructing, navigating, and responding to such a large group. He was especially great with our infant and toddler, demonstrating patience and understanding, and even coming with a toy for distraction! My fiancé and I just had our engagement session with Sharyar and we couldn't be happier with how the experience went. I was a ball of nerves, having never done professional photos before. I can't emphasize this more - it was the furthest thing from sucking! Sharyar made us feel comfortable and like we were spending time with a friend. He was very professional, had excellent location suggestions and made sure we got a large variety of photos while never making us feel rushed. The picture were ready quickly and Sharyar did a fantastic job presenting us with our new photos as well as highlighting the products we could opt to purchase in addition - never once being pushy. As a photographer developing his new practice, Sharyar was great - very professional and communicative. It was a breeze to arrange a time, place, and payment method for the photo shoot. He even gave tips on what colours/clothing would best stand out in the chosen setting. When it came to taking the photos, he was friendly and took his time to try a variety of shots. During the editing phase, I especially appreciated his patience!! I was particular about how I wanted things to look, so he listened closely and accommodated a few changes that I requested. This is the special touch that has bumped him up to 5-stars. :) Otherwise, I liked how he worked with colours and lighting to create a unique and bold look. The only thing I can think he could improve upon is composition. He offered to print a custom book for an additional fee at the end. Even though that's not how I ended up choosing to get my photos printed, I appreciated the option.

I would highly recommend Sharyar with Box cube Photography. He went above and beyond before, during and after the wedding to make our experience comfortable, easy and seamless. Especially for people who have never been photographed before. He also does his due diligence in selecting a good second photographer to assist him. He is very much worth the price if not more for all the services he provides. Now the photos themselves were amazing! I could not believe how beautiful our photos turned out and we had no idea where to shoot formals and he found great spots and what poses to pick. He was even prepared since it decided to rain during formals and he was able to utilize it for nice shots. His ideas were great and original. He was flexible when we changed our schedule and were running behind. The same day slide show he includes is beautiful and impressive our family and friends were wowed. Most of all he was easy to work with, as once strangers it's as if we developed a friend so it didn't feel like we were dealing with just a vendor but someone we could go to. He got all the shots we asked for. He gave them to us on a convenient usb and online gallery. He had a schedule and an easy format to lay out the shots we demanded. He was also confident in moving people around and getting attention for family photos. Honestly, he was our first choice as a vendor and the best one we made. If we did it all again we would pick him again in a heartbeat. Many other photographers are incomparable to his quality and value. Pros: -Value -Flexible -Easy to work with -Pleasant -Creative -Mindful -Same day slideshow - Cons: -Maybe price if you have a tight budget
