Steve is one of a kind. I can write about how technically perfect the photos, albums, and thank you cards were, but the best thing about his work is that Steve is a people person. It is a very tough job to organize a group of fidgety people post-ceremony, pre-reception and get your job done right, but Steve managed to have everyone enjoying themselves.

On my wedding day, the photographer and videographer were great! Super friendly, professional, and got lots of great shots! My photos came in quickly, and beautiful....my wedding albums took a little more time but also turned out fantastic! HOWEVER...... my experience at The Photo Studio hasn’t all been positive. My wedding was on Aug 4th and I am currently STILL waiting for my wedding video to come in...there has been hardly any communication as to why? I am left guessing they don’t have enough people working on video to handle the volume of weddings they take on. I sincerely hope that when the video does come (hopefully before my first wedding anniversary) that it is equally as beautiful as their other work. But it has been an extremely frustrating experience. So I would definitely weigh my options before choosing this place to be safe !

We planned our wedding from provinces away, and the Photo Studio made it as easy as it possibly could have been to plan the videography aspect of our big day. We had already booked a photographer and made the decision later in the planning process to book a videographer, as they capture things that pictures can't. I am so glad we chose to spend the extra money to do it, and we can't wait to see what The Photo Studio creates with the footage they got. Steve made everything so easy, from questions we had, to payments we needed to make. Hank was our videographer and he was so professional and he didn't get in the way of anything - we could barely tell he was there. We are so happy with our decision to go with the Photo Studio, and we are so excited to receive the final product.

Worst experience ever. This was the only bad part of Our wedding. When we met with Steve we explained that we had a sibling that was autistic. He assured us of his experience in photographing kids with special needs. He showed his personal work which we liked. He also assured us due to our special needs he would be the photographer. One week prior to the wedding we learned he would not be there. We argued none stop and he threw the small print in the contract at us which stated they had a right to change the photographer. The photographer (Aaron ) which was sent was in our opinion incompetent. He did not bring any lightings even. The results really showed in the horrible photographs we received. Guests at the wedding who had taken pictures from their phones gave us the only good pictures we received. The photographer didn’t even take a proper portrait of us together. Most of the pictures turned out blurry and since he didn’t bring lights was using the make up artists lights. Upon complaint to Steve he defended his photographer even though he was not witness to anything. We gave a list of pictures that needed editing and none of it was done. None of the books or photos had the name of the studio on it which shows he didn’t want to advertise this quality of work. We asked to come pick up our pictures so we can talk to him about all of our issues and he wouldn’t let us. He couriered them to us instead. If I could give this rating a negative number I would. The best advice I can give is stay away at all costs.

Worst experience ever. Very minimal contact with the owner. Had no idea who our videographer was until the day of. The videographer that was sent was unable to work cooperatively with our photographer. Several incidents where he told our photographer to move out of the way. At the end, the video was a sad disappointment. Very little content. Honestly have no clue what they were filming all day. The drone footage that they advertise was garbage and didn't even end up on our video. Worst money spent out of our whole vendors. The service was terrible and impersonal and the product was terrible. We asked to meet up to plan the day, was sent a document for us to fill out. They didn't even use it in my opinion. In conclusion, don't waste your money on this company!

The Photo Studio did our wedding and engagement photos. They turned out really excellent. Beautiful photos. They were able to provide photo packages, but we ended up upgrading most things which increased the price. The quality of pictures was excellent. I will say the owner is curt when communicating through emails and is very nice and professional in-person. They were also able to make a wedding video. It's a good one-stop-shop when dealing with the stress of a wedding.

Steve from The Photo Studio photographed our wedding in the summer of 2015. His professionalism and punctuality were flawless, his sense of humor and advice made us forget he was the photographer as he joined our bridal party and family for the afternoon. He even helped out with several things to coordinate our reception far in excess of what we would ever expect from a photographer. The images he captured were amazing, and the turn around time for our photos was only a few days. He even had a full set of sample proofs from our engagement shoot within six hours. With regards to the bill, everything was clearly outlined in a quotation, no surprise fees or added costs. Without hesitation I would recommend The Photo Studio to anyone considering professional photography.

Our experience with this photo studio was so terrible that my husband can't even look at our wedding photos without remembering how horrible it was. This is our biggest and only regret. The photography is novice with poor posing/positioning variety, blurry indoor photos, and little to no editing made to final photos. We would have received better quality from asking a guest to photograph us. They nickel and dime everything. Prior to signing we checked what would be included, but afterwards were informed that those same items would cost extra. We asked to meet to plan the day and were sent a document, which wasn't even used as the photographer was constantly asking us when the next event was happening. We made 2 photo requests and one of them was completely disregarded. Consequently, we have no photos at all of our decor despite it being the aspect of our wedding that we put the most thought and time into. The studio never even apologised for this oversight. Finally, we didn't know who our photographer would be until our wedding day despite requesting a photographer prior to signing the contract, and having an engagement shoot to get comfortable with that photographer. If you want a discount photographer, go with someone less expensive and you'll have a better experience and have the same photo quality. If you want a good photographer, find someone more expensive at the outset; you'll probably pay the same amount in the end.

We had Steve shoot our halloween wedding on October 31st, 2015 and he did an amazing job. From our ceremony to our small reception, he captured everything perfectly. We also had one of his team members shoot our engagement photos duringthe summer at the National Exhibition and even though it was a quick day we had more than enough to choose from and they turned out fantastic. There were a lot of changes made to our special day, and the Photo Studio were extremely accommidating throughout. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

The first official meeting that I had with Steve and his team was at a wedding show. The quality of his work is amazing. I was afraid that they were going to be out of our budget but I was pleasantly surprised that his cost was extremely reasonable and even below the other quotes that we received. Our experience with the Photo Studio was great from the very start. Steve was always very prompt at responding to our calls and emails. The whole wedding planning process is very overwhelming and Steve was so calming and made both of us feel at ease, which isn't an easy feat. Our wedding party and family also thought that he was great and only had compliments. We received a sneak peak of our shots within 3 days of getting married and we received the proofs in the mail after only a week. We have received so many compliments on the shots. They are amazing and we are so thankful that we picked the Photo Studio to capture the photography on our wedding day. Thanks Steve and the Photo Studio team for helping to make our wedding day as special as it was. We can't wait to have another reason to need a photographer so that we can use your services again.

There are MUCH better places out there for photography. This is a nickel and dime type place and although we were warned by a friend, we unfortunately still went with them for our wedding. They don't seem to perform their jobs based on passion for photography or for genuinely wanting to make your day special... They just want your money. The staff's attitude was a huge turn off...very cocky, not easy to communicate with. Please beware and consider other options before this one.

Photos are of good quality and prices are comparable for others in the industry. I wonder if those complaining about nickel and diming looked into other options? Owner is friendly and photographer was humorous. Our style was captured pretty well. Owner of business is very responsive. Would have appreciated more communication with respect to return of albums and timing, otherwise all was good.
