Studio 220 is seriously amazing! We had them do our engagement and wedding photos. We couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. Our photographers went above and beyond--collecting info on the photos that we wanted (before the day), showing up early so that they'd be all ready to start shooting on time, and making us feel so comfortable throughout the day. We aren't naturally posey people and don't usually photograph too well but I'm in love with our pictures. They had a super fast turnaround too! I can't say enough good things about them, especially for the price, which is very reasonable compared to others in the area.

We found Studio 220 for our wedding while looking for vendors through The Knot. My wife and I were looking for an affordable wedding photographer, but we also wanted someone with past wedding experience and a photo style that both liked. We were thrilled with our experience with our photographer, Bree! We took advantage of the free 1 hour engagement photoshoot so we could get to know her prior to the wedding day. Having the engagement photoshoot really helped us become comfortable and excited to work with her on our wedding day! Everything went smoothly and we got our final photos less than a month later. They also provided so many photos so that we now have more favorites than we know what to do with. We would highly recommend Studio 220 for the value and quality of their wedding packages. We are biased, but of course we would say to request Bree if she is available!

I loved working with Studio 220. After doing a ton of research on photographers, I reached out to them and Dana quickly got back to me. We chatted about my/my husband's personalities and preferences, and she was able to recommend a few photographers she thought would be the best fit. We ended up going with Katrina and are so glad we did! She did both our engagement session and wedding, which was a good choice because we really got to know one another. She was super personable and easy to work with. Our photos turned out great, too. I should also note that there are tons of photographers to choose from, each with their own style. This is a huge perk for couples like us who felt kind of overwhelmed by sifting through everything during wedding planning.

Emily and Amy R. did a fabulous job at our wedding! They kept was cool and calm, and captured everything we asked for - and more! Only downfall is the price...fairly expensive. Would've loved to have them for the entire day but it was out of our price range. But that's no fault of Amy and Emily's - just the price range of the studio in general. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I used Studio 220 for our wedding in 2017. All of the personnel we dealt with were great and easy to work with. The fact that we had our wedding 4 hours away from the Twin Cities which should have added a little bit more of a challenge from a planning standpoint, did no such thing. The cost was very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this company!

We did our engagement and wedding pictures with Studio 220 and they were amazing! Tamika did a fantastic job with our engagement pictures - we suggested taking them at the Stone Arch bridge and then we went to many other nearby places that Tamika knew in just our short 1-hour session - she helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera and found some amazing backdrops. Tamika and Sarah did our wedding and we are in love with the pictures! They were so awesome to work with and made us, our family and wedding party so comfortable. They also had some fun ideas the group photos that turned out so cute :) I would strongly recommend Studio 220!!!

Joan was our photographer and we were head over heels from the beginning, as we had to reschedule our engagement pictures due to a family emergency. The first time we met face to face, she immediately asked for an update on that family member before we even began to speak about photos. Her care about your desires as a couple, and your lives individually and together, shows in her photography but also in the relationship we formed over the months we worked together. The day of the wedding, she was accompanied by Kathleen and Andrew and we got rave reviews from all family members and wedding party members on their organization and personalities. Our images showed up less than three weeks after our wedding and we were FLOORED! Studio 220 was our first stop for photography and we'll sing their praises to anyone who asks about our experience.

We love all the photos that we received, and I especially loved having two photographers on the wedding day as part of the package because you got different angles of things and captured more photos of the day. Dana at the studio was so awesome to work with, and was so positive and fun! I would definitely recommend Studio 220 and Andrew for wedding photography.

Studio 220 was the first wedding photography studio that came to mind when my (now) husband proposed. The studio is clear on their products, packages and pricing. We had an outline for the photos that we needed/wanted and our photographer Bree was very accommodating in what we envisioned for the day. Even for last minute details and changes, Bree was very professional. Kudos to Bree for getting great shots of very tall people (I'm 5'10" and my husband 6'5"). The 2-3 week wait for the digital images is well worth it, as you have the rights to them and can download them ANYWHERE. As a photographer myself, I highly recommend this studio.

Fortunately, Studio 220 has done a wonderful job of capturing each and every smile, every little personality, and every precious moment. I particularly appreciate the hilarious outtakes of our family! The sessions are never stressful and we are always amazed at how wonderful the photographs turn out. I treasure these photographs and will continue to trust Studio 220 in the future.

We met Sally at a bridal fair, and she was my favorite photography vendor there. Not only because the photographers at Studio 220 all shoot beautiful pictures but moreso because she took so much time to get to know us and what we were looking for. In about 10 minutes, she learned our style and was able to recommend four photographers with beautiful portfolios. We selected Jen, and she was incredible! We had to reschedule our engagement photos three times because of the weather, and she was so accommodating. She pushed us a little out of our comfort zone to get some beautiful pictures. When we had to postpone our date twice due to COVID, Jen and Dana in the office were so responsive and got us rescheduled easily. Working with Jen was a dream! She is so friendly and gave great direction for all the photos we needed to have taken. Our second shooter Gabi was also so amazing to work with. She complemented Jen so well, and everything went so well! Jen had timelines down so well, and we kept to her timeline perfectly until my ring mishap. I lost my grandmother’s ring during golden hour photos, so we took about 20 minutes to find it. It was in my hair the whole time. She and Gabi stopped photos to help me find it which I appreciated so much. During the ceremony, I knew Jen and Gabi were taking photos, but they did such a great job of blending into the background that I had no idea they were even there! Jen knew exactly which photos I wanted, and she got everything. I’m so excited to see how our photos turn out!

If I could give zero stars I would. I have never experienced such an experience before, and I definitely don’t mean a positive one. My fiancé and I booked Studio 220 months ago. We booked them off of a recommendation. We really liked the fact that we would have one vendor for photography and photo booth. Kill two birds with one stone. When you book, you’re asked lots of questions. One of those questions is asked about the location of your venue. We received our contracts for the photography and was booked with Liam. We were told that our photo booth contract was being written up. About 2-3 months ago I still had not received it and checked in with the company. That’s when they informed me that they don’t travel that far with the booth. I was frustrated of course and asked why they would tell me they are writing a contract when I could have been booking another company for the booth. They said that they would make an “exception” and travel with the booth, but that was a joke. The travel fees were about the same price as the actual booth. So we passed on the booth. At this point I’m frustrated and want to find another photographer, but also didn’t want to break contract. I decided to keep them (my mistake). You are supposed to hear from your photographer around 6 weeks before the wedding. Didn’t happen, go figure. I received a call from Dana who told me that my photographer was double booked and therefore I did not have a photographer, 5 weeks until my wedding. She offered a photographer from a different company who we had zero knowledge. I had zero trust for them, how would I know this person would show. Good luck trying to find a photographer 5 weeks until your wedding. We declined their photographer and decided to look for someone new. I am at 3 weeks to go and am really feeling the stress. We are having our videographer become our photographer for now unless we find someone new. I would never recommend this company. Most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with.

I would recommend working with Tamika and Studio 220 over and over again! Studio 220 was far and away the highest quality and most affordable photography studio I could find to photograph our August wedding. We were matched up with Tamika almost immediately. Tamika is professional, fun, kind, and extremely talented. My husband and I were nervous about looking awkward in our pictures since we're not used to being professionally photographed, but Tamika was so good at making us feel comfortable and truly capturing our personalities!

I wrote a review for Studio 220 (based on our experience of our wedding photography) and apparently it was removed in order to increase their average star rating. I do not recommend this company. I will never have the requested photos (picture of my husband's face during the first look, a silhouette of my dance with my father, and a picture of my husband when I walked down the aisle) despite having two professional photographers. Heartbroken over the pictures taken... I expected so much more.

She made sure we were on time and wasn’t afraid to put the grooms men in their places when they got a little rowdy. She was positive the whole time and so friendly. We absolutely LOVED studio 220! Our August 1st wedding would not have been the same with out our photographers Aaron & Jamie. The manager, Dana, was super helpful in getting everything squared away -especially from planning everything from Oklahoma. Dana was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process-not to mention a pandemic! Aaron and Jamie could not have been more fun to be around and we really really enjoyed them. They did such a great job, and we felt very comfortable. Before the wedding, Aaron really got to know us the best he could, as well as our family dynamic and whatnot. The day of he had everything planned out and even a plan B if the weather were to not cooperate. He and Jamie were always around and capturing moments throughout the day. I would recommend Aaron and Jamie to anyone and everyone. We were worried about staging so many photos, but they took a great balance of formal wedding photos, as well as natural or candid ones. It helped that Aaron knows when to throw in a punch line here and there to make us laugh. They interacted amazingly with our guests and our other vendors. Studio 220 did our family photo session as well as head shots! They were super impressive with how quickly the shoot went! We had 2 outfit changes with 3 different locations in an hour and a half AND I have 3 boys, so you can imagine what a miracle that timing is! I loved how flexible the photographer was when my 7 year old pitched a fit! She just moved on to photograph the other 2! Our images are THE BEST we’ve ever had! She caught the most beautiful un-posed moments! It’s the REAL us-just prettier! We won’t use anyone else! Studio 220 did a fabulous job! I can’t wait to do our sitting where she’ll even help us figure out where in our house to put the photos along with size! I would never have time to figure that out on my own!

I was absolutely devastated when I got my photos back from our wedding. Our photographer had done a horrible job adding variety to the poses and getting us all to look "natural" and have fun instead of stuffy. We also couldn't use any (not over exaggerating) of the family photos that they took because the placement of family members was so awkward and the photos just looked so rushed and unatural. I burst into tears after looking through them because we had paid so much money and very few photos turned out (we are talking less than 8 of the 500+ that they took prior to reception). I dont recommend this studio and especially do not recommend working with Lynsey.
